Goner Message Board / New Releases & Stuff For Sale / "Treat Me Like Dirt" - Book About 70's Toronto Punk
Posted: Feb 24, 2010 5:00 pm | Edited by: Craig Daniels

For those interested in the original punk scene in Toronto/Canada back in 77 a woman named Liz Worth has written an amazing oral history (a-la "Please Kill Me") called "Treat Me Like Dirt".
It mainly follows the Viletones, Teenage Head, Simply Saucer and the Diodes...everything you ever wanted to ask Nazi Dog and Frankie Venom but were afraid to ask!
It's been in a small pressing but below is a contact/ordering link

PS - I've got nothing to do with the book but wanted to spread the hoser punk goodness around...

That's one of the better, more entertaining punk memoirs that I've read.
