I can't make sweet tea worth a damn. Any tips or recipes?

At the risk of sounding stupider than normal, I don't follow. You disolve the sugar seperately? Do you mean boiling the sugar with the water?

it doesn't disolve cold, make a syrup kind of thing, or put in while the waters hot

i'm not reccomending this recipe, just using it as an example

3 Family size tea bags
2 Cups of cold water
1 Cup of sugar

We in the south make the best iced tea you'll find. Maybe it's how it's done, or maybe it is the water in the south, or maybe it's just that a southern belle has put a lot of TLC into making the tea. Who knows!

We recommend Luzianne Tea Bags if available.

Place the two cups water in a pot and add the tea bags. Bring to a boil, do not continue boiling. Remove from heat and let steep. Pour warm tea into empty pitcher. Add the sugar and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Fill remaining pitcher with cold water.

Optional - some women say they use less water and add ice to the tea.

aaahhhhhhh. ok. I always boil water, put tea bags in then fill up the pitcher with COLD water and then add suger. Thanks Bruce.

get a big (at least 1 gallon) glass jar with a lid (pickle jars work good...shit in it first to kill the power of the pickles)

fill with water, add teabags (may have to slice em real thin if theys the typical american) leave out in the yard somewhere that gets a lot of sun

when you wake up after getting drunk and masturbating twice (I only need one hour but I live in hell) bring it back inside and take out the bags

add whatever other shit you want (not ice)
let it cool down on the counter
once it's room temperature add ice or stick in the fridge

for added flava use a mint tea

and pour some lemonade into your ice trays and use those for the ice

also you probably want to drink this stuff within a couple of days...after three it starts getting weird

maybe cause when I shit in my pickle jar I had giardia

I had a glass of iced tea for the first time in about two years the other day.

It was pretty good, but a bit too sweet. I'm not a very good Southerner.

i drink sweet tea on the regular since i quit drinking sodas so much. helps the hangovers. ;)

the sweet tea at FEED is some of the best i've ever had. strong tea with the perfect amount of sweet

add a pinch of baking soda. it neutralizes the tannins that make tea bitter.
