Hot sauce and smoked almonds is great. Hot sauce on pork cracklins is revolting. Dried fried salty pork skin is a snack I enjoy. Hit 'em with hot sauce and the dry snap is replaced with a moist limpness. And it's disgusting.

Kaya toast is a top breakfast jam, but it's so delicious and easy to make that it's become a go-to snack as well:

Coconut jam (found at Asian markets) + a little bit of butter on 2 pieces of toast, sandwiched together, and dipped in a barely-fried, runny egg topped with soy sauce and white pepper.

I cannot stress how delicious this is.
Posted: Sep 20, 2010 1:12 pm
hope you made sure not to buy the eggs from that batch of 500 million with the salmonella in them...
otherwise, sounds delicious!

Nutella on toast. Fuck yeah.

Husband was eating cheesy poofs from those giant Costco-size containers, but they jacked up his cholesterol. Since he had to give those up, I had to give up potato chips.
