Goner Message Board / Food & Drink / breakfast at Wendy's
Posted: Jan 17, 2008 2:33 pm
I tried it for the first time this morning. It was gross. Maybe it's what I got (steak/egg/bacon sandwich), but I was not impressed. Has anyone had anything on their breakfast menu that's worth a shit?

Denny's Grandslam. The King of Roadfood.

You have got to be kidding me. Waffle House!

Waffle House!

Amen. We would go there regularly, but the closest one is in Ohio.

wendy's is for baked potatoes and square burgers and frosties.

I keep getting things in the mail that almost tempt me to try it, but it's just not possible it's going to be any good. Biscuits and Gravy from WENDY'S? No way.

YES! The closest one is about an hour from us, so it only happens on tour, and then everyone else is mad at me.

Waffle House!

uh huh I'm surrounded by Waffle Houses. But I also live on the same block as the ghetto movie theatre, a branch of the Ohio State School of Cosmetology, family dollar, and a motorcycle repair shop. Classy!

wait wait wait. I didn't see this on the menu. Perhaps it's regional?

yeah, I think it's regional... Try the Frescuit thing. That looks better than the other stuff. Although I read that the biscuit is "formulated" to hold together and not crumble apart. That's scary stuff.

I didn't even know Wendy's had a breakfast.

The only one I've seen is the one right by our house.

I need a frosty so bad right now

back when wendy's used to have breakfast, before they stopped and started having breakfast again, they used to have these little hash brown chips that were really good.

Think of a tater tot, then slice it into four poker chip sized pieces.

I think they called them home fries.

That's how burger king's are. Little discs.

That's good to know. I've been bypassing burger king lately out of fear that I might order the enormous omelet sandwich. I pine for the days of the burger buddy and it's morningtide counterpart the breakfast buddy.

Yes Evander Holyfield, I would pop a buddy in the mouth for $1.99, perhaps even more.
