honey roasted cashews
garbanzo bean salad(mmmmmm!)
sourdough rolls
cajun crab dip
garlic toast rounds
ben and jerry's: chubby hubby and everything but the...
1.75L of Svedka
Looza tropical juice
Jardines Texas Red Snapper bloody mary mix
and assorted hickory farms leftovers.

I have these foods every New Years:

Corned beef and cabbage. Midwestern good luck food.
Black eyed peas. Southern good luck food.
Boiled shrimp. Just because I like 'em.

One of my best friends died in a house fire on new years in 89. I hate new years.

Tamales w/ green chile. Grilled crook-necked squash. Salad with radishes, mango and cilantro dressing. Leftover Cold Stone Creamery supersugarhappycake (red velvet with cake batter ice cream, frosting and sprinkles).

Black eyed peas and king crab legs tomorrow!

I just don't know. Could go a bunch of different ways.
For meat, I've got Ground Chuck, Pork Chops or Sausage.

i am making black beans in mole sauce - sorta like chili only there's no meat in it (to my dismay)
we have pizza left over from last night because i bought way too much

i want to make banana splits...

i already ate some crab dip, and cahsews and par tof a blookdy mary and a woodcguck an a vodka and tropical juice.

Coke would have been nice, but we jsut watched a show about it instead.

now we have to eat out ice cream and some beef stick.

I ate

Roasted Oysters with chianti vinaigrette
Goat Cheese Ravioli with roasted tomatoes and asparagus
Lots of "martinis" with strawberries and balsamic vinegar (I guess that is what is in 'em)

For dinner I had Brie melted on flatbread and strong English Breakfast Tea with milk & sugar. Mmmm.

Earlier toady, I went to brunch at an amazing Cuban restaurant in the Village and had tostones, black bean soup and a kick-ass Cuban sandwich variant made with chicken and garlic and green pepper and some kind of yummy orange-colored sauce (french dressing?) - it was called the "diablo" - and TWO GIANT CUPS of the MOST DELICIOUS COFFEE (actually cafe con leche) EVER

ANd I bought a bag of Mexican buns (the kind with the pastel sugar tops) and French apricot preserves for New Year's Day breakfast. I can't wait!

ended getting some porterhouses and nice baking potatoes but too fucked up to cook em.

grabbed a 4 dollar hormel pepperoni cheese and cracker tray from the deli, that was good

we went to 16's mom's place for the night and got 6 lbs of shrimp steamed in old bay and a ton of awesome frozen grocery store snacks: chicken fries, cheddar jalapeno poppers, taquitos, etc. went well the the ten beers, joint and half a xanax!

i had some corky's ribs and some chinese food today. was wanting black eyed peas but i was so hungover i didn't feel like cooking anything. tried to go to the cupboard for said peas, but they were not open after 11am for whatever reason.

last night, i had taco bell and it was disgusting.

That crap is only good when you're drunk. I'm happy to say it's been four years, I think, since I've been to one. Back when there was a 24-hour walk-up accessible taco bell between drinking establishments and home, and I'd get 2-3 steak soft tacos 3-5 nights a week!

My fast food these days consists of primarily Wendy's and Weinerschnitzel. My god, those 1/2 lb jalapeno burgers at Wendy's are heavenly!

That's what we had. best hangover food ever. Bisquick is bascally the dry ingredients for biscuits with shortening cut in. Try this

2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoon baking powder
1/4 cup shortening

it comes out even better than with bisquick.
