Tomato gravy? Veird! Sounds like I must try!

-2 large tomatoes diced stew in 3 cups of water w/ 2 pats of butter and salt/pepper in frying pan....put in bowl (don't drain the water, ya'eard)

-fry up some bacon or sausage or ham...set aside (save the drippings for the gravy....make sure there is plenty)

-gravy add 2 tblsp of flour to grease in pan stir till pasty. whisk in 1 cup of milk...bring to berl, stir out lumps

-spoon in yer tomatoes and juice

- pour over buttered biscuits

-eat

oopsy make that stir in tomatoes and juice....bring to boil. reduce heat then add 1/2 cup of milk. salt pepper or bourque's to taste
my bad that's why i don't do the cooking.

Can you substitute a can of stewed tomatoes instead of real ones? I'm a big fan of stewed toms in the morning.

a different type of this can be made with...

a can of rotel
a block of philadelphia cream cheese
jimmy dean sausage
biscuits
