Outrun. Notable for the fact that because my Sinclair Spectrum 48k was so shit, you had the music ON TAPE to play whilst you were playing the game.

I'm not sure that the Spectrum made it over the pond. For those who are unfamiliar, here is a page dedicated to the beast-

http://www.nvg.ntnu.no/sinclair/computers/zxspectrum/specplus.htm

It was designed by the guy who made the Sinclair C5, which was a small battery-powered car that was supposed to revolutionise personal transport. I saw one once.

not to nitpick but the second tecmo bowl was called super tecmo bowl. it featured the most unstoppable video game player ever. QB Eagles aka Randall Cunningham was a major threat running or passing.

double dribble allowed you to make every three pointer from the corner if you jumped in bounds to out of bounds. once that was discovered the game got real boring.

i spent many hours trying to get through all eight levels on super mario brothers for NES.

Pleiades

I loved this game, though I barely understood it. It was so beautiful.
There was much discussion around the pronunciation: "No! It is 'PLEE-AYDES!'" "Nuh-unh it is PLEE-AY-DEES!"

SINISTAR!

Arkanoid was like SuperPong.
All vector graphics like Omega Race, Battlezone, Tempest. Anybody have that home Vectrex? I was quite covetous of that one.
Posted: Oct 25, 2005 12:52 am

Not to say that I did anything with my xbox, but it might have a few thousand games on it, from 1980-94.

If anyone has a Dreamcast lying around you can burn regular cdrs with NES roms on it to play with an emulator.

Sinistar is the shit.
Satan's Hollow is so evil. And the big version at the end of "Joystick".

Vectrex go for bank online. Wire vector gfx, Battle Zone and Red Baron = the shit.

Solar Warrior is my favorite arcade game. I can't believe I forgot that.

The Journey game was tits. I play drums, and shoot lasers out of the bottoms of the toms.

Discs Of Tron, nice.

Lunar Lander. Played something like this at the US Space & Rocket Center in Hunstville, AL when I was bowl-cutted early 80's.

Anybody have that home Vectrex?
I had one. absolutey radical shit. but unfortunately no one I knew had one so trading games was out of the question. and $20-$35 per game was a strain on these 4th grade pockets.

It was stolen never to be replaced along with my nintendo from our beautiful crime free Coooper Young home. the Nintendo was replaced.

Nintendo in was reason I didn';t learn about masturbation until I was 27. Thanks NES!
