Them big ones ain't as tasty as the little 1 pounders are, but if you cut 'em up right, they are, of course, good eatin'. I grew up fishing the Santee-Cooper chain of lakes in SC, where we'd pull 50-plus punders on a regular basis, and where they pulled a record 107 pound 9 ounce cat (17 pound test for 3 hours!) and still hold a record of 58 pounds for a channel cat. The best tasting steaks off a big cat like that are right behind the eyes on top of the head. deeeeee-lish.
