What the fuck?
Posted: Jun 15, 2005 6:41 am
we're repressing this thing. do not pay more than 9 bucks or whatever we're gonna have to charge.

on lp only- those cds are gonna go throug the roof!
Posted: Jun 15, 2005 8:11 am
$77.98 is a STEAL!
Posted: Jun 15, 2005 8:22 am
One of my fav records of all time, but I still wouldn't pay whatever I paid Eric to ship it to me back in the day.....

That's (yuck yuck) ......reatarded!
Posted: Jun 15, 2005 8:24 am
I like how the dust jacket AND vinyl are both in mint condition......you know how those pesky dust jackets wear out!

EBAY.. just like Frigidare... Cool!
Posted: Jun 15, 2005 10:04 am | Edited by: mikesniper
I still don't understand how records that came out a coupla years ago are going for that kind of money. I mean, it's a good record, but jeez....

Didn't a Tokyo Electron single sell for something like 40 bucks a few months ago?? And the Spits Missile X single selling for 30 right after it went OOP.

I love all those bands, but how can they be selling for as much as original '77-'82 punk obscurities? I mean 20 years from now, I can see...

This is why people are buying 3-5 copies of all the 7"ers pressed from 300-500, all the damn Shattered singles are OOP the month they come out. I mean, good for the label, but tough shit for people who don't preorder. At least they're rapid with their represses.

Posted: Jun 15, 2005 2:26 pm
I always buy 5 copies of SSLD, Shattered etc. stuff for my mail order here in London, and anyone who pays a shitload on Ebay should instead be paying me 3.75.
Posted: Jun 15, 2005 2:36 pm
yer repressing it?! Yaaayh! boo-yah.
Posted: Jun 15, 2005 3:25 pm
You just made my day Eric. I recently lost that CD and have been listening to Bedroom Disasters over and over. I still can't get over the buckets. That sounds way better than the suitcase and trashcans that I used to use.
Posted: Jun 15, 2005 3:36 pm
Damn, I have that CD, and I was playing it yesterday, along w/the new live one and Bedroom D. (house cleaning motivational music, haha). Guess I should feel semi lucky. Ain't gonna sell it though. Out of My Head is a all time hall of famer track. This one was my first intro to Goner back when it came out.
Posted: Jun 15, 2005 3:39 pm
I can't wait for the reish. Great news! Is it gonna look the same as the 1st press or will there be rainbows on the label or some shit?
Posted: Jun 15, 2005 4:19 pm
77 bucks! My copy is going on eBay TONIGHT!!!!!
Posted: Jun 15, 2005 4:32 pm
yeah if this is getting repressed i'm gonna put my copy on ebay right away
Posted: Jun 15, 2005 4:34 pm
It probably will go for less if you guys all put them up there at the same time. How did you ever work for a record store? Dang!
Posted: Jun 15, 2005 4:43 pm
true - maybe i'll wait a week or so
Posted: Jun 15, 2005 4:43 pm
yeah, cmon; we have to time this;
dont flood the market! I want at LEAST 50 for my copy!
Posted: Jun 15, 2005 5:08 pm
yeah - i'm going to put a high reserve on my copy -- i wouldny BUY it for more that $15-20 - but i wouldnt sell it for less than $50 either
Posted: Jun 15, 2005 5:10 pm
I'll trade you for Chrsitine's Turbonegro record!
Posted: Jun 15, 2005 5:12 pm
no way dood, i have the pink vinyl & you LOVE that record!
Posted: Jun 15, 2005 7:45 pm
I always knew Joe like Man's Ruin.

I sold our doubles, when you get married you only need 1 copy of a record for those of you living in motherfucking sin, for about $50 each over the past year. With or without a repress the first pressing will still fetch a nice price.

Beckett Hot List: Reatards, Tokyo Electron, Spits.
Beckett Cold List: Matt Nokes, Pete Rose, Deion Sanders.
Posted: Jun 15, 2005 7:47 pm
I got some old Poison Idea records. Anyone??
Posted: Jun 15, 2005 7:50 pm
Matt Nokes, holy shit....
I haven't heard that one since Chris Sabo.
Posted: Jun 15, 2005 8:03 pm

Posted: Jun 16, 2005 5:02 am
Cheaster Earl Lemon is a Jehova's "Can I Get A" Witness. Carl Everett doesn't believe in dinosaurs. They both fucked.
Posted: Jun 16, 2005 6:39 am
I still wouldn't pay whatever I paid Eric to ship it to me back in the day

I meant I wouldn't pay more for it now than I did when I originally mail ordered it from Goner.......
Posted: Jun 16, 2005 8:20 am
Chris Sabo..HAHA!

Top this: TOM "mofuckin" BROOKENS!
Posted: Jun 16, 2005 12:42 pm
Chris Sabo always reminded me of Spuds McKenzie. Dunno why. Maybe it was those goggles he wore. How 'bout Mark Grace? or the Andy Ripkin "naughty" baseball card??
Posted: Jun 16, 2005 2:25 pm
It ws Billy Ripkin, Cal's brother, with the naughty baseball card.
Posted: Jun 16, 2005 2:58 pm
Oops.... yer right..... DAMMIT!
Posted: Jun 16, 2005 3:06 pm
I had an urge not long ago to get that Billy Ripken card on eBay. I want to frame it and put it on my wall. I think that card is the funniest thing ever, if you think about it as being a practical joke.
Posted: Jun 16, 2005 3:31 pm
I now know why I fucked up the name.... I was thinkin' about Andy Benes that used to play for the Padres. Ooops....
Posted: Jun 16, 2005 3:38 pm
You're a Padre, Padre Dan!
Posted: Jun 16, 2005 7:17 pm
I got four words: Andre "The Hawk" Dawson.

Fuck yeah!
Posted: Jun 16, 2005 7:20 pm
sabo and larkin suck cause they're michigan wolverines. give me michigan state spartans like kirk gibson and steve garvey.

the greatest detroit tiger ever was johnny wockenfuss.
Posted: Jun 16, 2005 7:35 pm
You're all wrong. Jim Walewander, best Tiger ever. Back of his 1988 Score card describes his love for the Dead Milkmen who attended a game in Detroit to honor him. Scott Radinsky can lick balls. That "Fuck Face" card still kills me. We all got it written on the bottom of our bats.

You're a Billy Jo Robidoux.
Posted: Jun 16, 2005 7:42 pm
fuck u, GARY PETTIS is the greatest TIGER of all time.

did BUTCH HUSKY ever play for the Tigers? I know he was a met...
Posted: Jun 16, 2005 7:43 pm

used ta be a huge Mets fan
one-armed home run my ass
Posted: Jun 16, 2005 7:44 pm
Sparky Anderson was the greatest Tiger ever. He always reminded me of Mickey from 'Rocky.' "C'mon, kid..."
Posted: Jun 16, 2005 7:49 pm
To tell the truth, my cutdown was about 50/50 if you were gonna be Billy Joe Robidoux or Dan Quisenberry.

You're a Jim Eisenreich.
