Muddy Spear - our Chris Beck - has been battling brain cancer for years. We love him very much.

This is from his family, from Facebook:

Just a short message to let Christopher Beck 's friends know that after a brave and determined 5 and 1/2 year battle with brain cancer Chris is now in a hospice on the Wirral. He is surrounded by loving family and is free of pain. He is near the end now but in the last few weeks has really enjoyed friends visiting him. Thank you for all your messages of support.

What a guy.

Hello everybody, I hope you're all well and that if you're at Goner Fest, which is where Chris would have loved to have been, you're having a good time.

Here's a song that Chris recorded with friends some years ago. He's singing on this one!
