I"ll have to make sure my Mentors t-shirt is nice and clean come 5/10-5/11. I saw them two last summer. The singing reminded me of The Bags or Teddy and the Frat Girls.

they are great ladies!

Robin ~ They should play with the Suicide Notes or Shut Your Animal Mouth... or both. Facebook 'em, Danno. Get in touch with Michele Motta at Club 21, or Dave Gaysunas at the Tonic Lounge. Star Bar or Slabtown would be cool too. All Facey-friendly. Sounds like good timez!

Will do! Thanks, Rema!

Early sunday show would work at the Know as well, Dave is the contact there..have his # if you need it... Hey Lover or Fist Fite my be some other good pairs..but you'll probably be at the mercy of the Club at that point..

Skip Montana and go thru SLC-Denver-Omaha. Montana is weird, lots of Jam Band folks who book shows at microbreweries. Box Elders tried to play some shows there but turnouts sucked, money was weak. On the plus side the weed was good and there was a kick ass army surplus store in Billings.

Thank you Jack and everyone else for your help!!
Here is some more updated info about the tour:

THE ViGNETTES (Memphis, TN):
Listen & watch:
More info: www.facebook.com/thevignettesmemphis

"Full bore, cranked-up, dirty, ass-punching two-piece rock-n-roll. I haven't heard two girls kick this much ass in two decades, fuck I'm old." -Jeremiah Castner, Crusher Fest (Oakland, CA)

"These Memphis gals are so talented, they've played blindfolded. They also put out some of the most solid punk since the '90s riot grrl heyday. With only a drum and guitar, the duo creates bare-bones, driving rock that goes straight for the jugular... These scrappy girls self-manage, self-release and refuse to be judged for their sex appeal only. Poly Styrene, rest her soul, would be proud." -Caroline Pate, Creative Loafing (Charlotte, NC)

"There's really no other way to describe the Vignettes than as a kick-ass girl rock group from Memphis... Their music is FIERCE... it's loud, in your face rock and roll." -Nicole Jones, NavigatorNic (Manchester, UK)

OBJECTUM SEXUALS (London, UK):
Listen: https://soundcloud.com/#objectum-sexuals
Lurk: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Objectum-Sexuals/378281165577890?fref=t s

"...That was the best song I've ever heard in my life. No, seriously. I'm serious, you guys, you guys really have something here..." -Sir William-Wood Koenig

"...You guys are the best band in the universe..." -Actual audience member

"Objectum Sexuals are my new favorite band." -Jack Oblivian

ACORN BCORN (Tucson, AZ):
Watch them play live:
Listen to 'em: http://acornbcorn.bandcamp.com/

"Acorn Bcorn, talented sisters Marina and Leann Cornelius, opened with their brand of gritty, garage rock. Though various musical influences can be heard throughout their songs, the band does not adhere to set genre rules or molds. In actuality, they don't really adhere to the traditional structure of a band. Trading off between bass, guitar, and drums, the pair creates a live performance that must be seen to be truly appreciated...Their mastery of dual instruments and ability to remain completely in synch with one another is made only more impressive by their unwavering stage presence." -Jamie Verwys, bscenelive.com

Since Milwaukee is only an hour and a half north of Chicago with no crowd overlap, and you have 2 Chicago dates, you may just want to do one of them in Milwaukee. If so, find "Aaron Skufka" (bar) or "Milwaukee Shows" (house/basement/bar) on Facebook.
