no need to put on a tinfoil hat when I say FUCK YOU to the member of the Goner Treehouse Club who has the knowledge and the hatred to do this to me every year.
As soon as I posted I could see the stream on Chrome it took this Goner probably only a few minutes to block it.
Glad you're brilliant with computers, mister, so yo can join the army soon.
(We've already had our first strike of WWIII, nobody here cared; so who gives a fuck about Gonerfest.)
But really sad that you are such a childish person. Then again: it must make you think you're already in Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam.

Um, maybe that's because it's not on?

Robin, you should let me intern. I'll get you and Kyle and whoever coffee and beer. All I ask is that I get a cool photo of myself sitting behind some sort of technical equipment with headphones on.

We're going to try to do everything again.
Posted: Sep 27, 2012 12:36 am
You should update the "donate" text. Say, "click here to support custom coffee". I don't think Bruce would mind.

It's not like it's on 24/7. Chill. Wait until tomorrow and stop complaining.
Posted: Sep 27, 2012 1:17 am
All you fucking do is freak the fuck out and complain and call bullshit. Why the fuck don't you just chill the fuck out and wait until the "free" broadcast is supposed to be streaming and then fucking complain that you can't see the fucking thing that you aren't paying the fuck to see?
Posted: Sep 27, 2012 1:19 am

Posted: Sep 28, 2012 2:47 am
wow some songs were great but i am more upset at what they didnt play than what they did. it was awesome hearing guitar shop asshole live, but where was static party or pill popper, feel real good, bad man, kick your ass, live the life, etc? oblivians are one of my all time favorite bands, not trying to be a dick here or expecting the 90s all over again, but honestly, halloween 2004 just blew this out of the water. i dont know i guess i expect too much, i do appreciate the ability to see or hear it at all, but wow, even the obviously planned encore, or take a break or whatever it was, i dont know. i was hollering at the MC, at the computer, at the audience "MAKE SOME FUCKING NOISE!!!"

at times it was transcendent, some of the songs were awesome, like the one off the quintron record and drill was cool to see live, but wow. just wow. i dont know...
Posted: Sep 28, 2012 3:04 am
i did my part & yelled pill popper after every song.
Posted: Sep 28, 2012 3:17 am
It was like 400 degreeze in that place. I took some vid. Will post on fb or something.
Posted: Sep 28, 2012 4:15 am
completely sober, and the overall volume in the place was way too quiet. Probably so you internet nerds could have good audio. Fuck you!!!
Posted: Sep 28, 2012 4:43 am
a couple of those new songs are really good i am looking forward to the new oblivians album...
Posted: Sep 28, 2012 4:50 am
i am shitfaced and doing last minute shitfaced mixes of the goddamn album we have been working on for the last four fucking months. that and building an arcade cabinet for a friend, and working on a set of songs to play with rev norb on vocals, he is joining us for our next 3-4 gigs at least and we have 9 songs.

wish i could be down in memphis and it was cool to hear my promo. the crazy thing is for once i am actually WORKING every night of gonerfest, an honest to goodness tax paying pizza delivering JOB motherFUCKERS!!!

goddamn thursday, friday, and saturday nights are my only hours this week. awesome to see/hear the stream though, went to a buddies house after practice that had better reception than i have out here in the tent.

almost wish i wasnt working/playing a gig saturday theres so many great bands playing
Posted: Sep 28, 2012 10:20 am
That was great being able to watch that at a local bar with some headphones..thanks Robin!. Golden Boys fucking murdered, love the new Oblivians stuff ...keep it comin'!
Posted: Sep 28, 2012 10:43 am
I agree with Mark. The volume in the club did seem way low compared to previous shows I've attended there. I don't know. I do LOVE the massive beer/smoking tent in the back parking lot! Last gfest I was at that was not there.
Posted: Sep 28, 2012 12:23 pm
I too thought it wasn't very loud inside. It was kind nice not needing to scream right into people's ears to have a conversation.
Posted: Sep 28, 2012 12:48 pm
The volume was right in line with past years. You fuckers are going deaf after nine of these sloppy parties. Tonight, I'll be offering free spiritual advice and fag jokes between sets, so call in sick to the pizza joint and tune in.
Posted: Sep 28, 2012 1:38 pm
If that was the same volume as gf 5, you Memphis fuckers need to turn this shit up. I'll go outside if I need to talk to somebody
Posted: Sep 28, 2012 1:45 pm
