Posted: Aug 23, 2012 5:34 pm

Hello Goner Board,

I am vacationing in DC in October and we have more than enough to do during the day, but wondered what bars to hit and where to check out shows??

Any Washington insiders here?? Any suggestion is much appreciated! Thank you!

My parents took a historical tour of DC on segways a couple years back. They said it was a blast. It's like 15 people rollin down the streets I segways at once all rollin mob style.

Great Ethiopian food over in Adam's Morgan.....
Everybody has their "favorite place", but I still like Meskerem - http://meskeremethiopianrestaurantdc.com/

For plain old drinking, Dodge City near 9th and U is good, as is Pharmacy Bar in Adams Morgan. Dodge City has good DJs upstairs and a nice patio.

I chuckled, but I didn't point in Miami Airport. They were cops after all. No reason to give them an excuse for a beating.

Jay, does the Fox and Hounds still exist/ or is still good any good any more? Used to frequent that place quite a bit back in the day.
