He was on Letterman last night.

Yeah, saw that, that was cool. I know somebody re-released that Cold Fact record fairly recently, but other than that , he's still been pretty obscure, till now anyway.. Gotta be weird for him.. 4 decades of nothin ( in this country anyway) , then Letterman..

Maribel from the Detroit Cobras went as Rodriguez for Halloween last year. He's been walking unnoticed around the Woodbridge neighborhood in Detroit for years, I had no clue who he was until about 4 years ago. His band in Detroit sometimes consists of Jim Diamond, Brad Hales (Human Eye), Dave Shetler (Sights, Nathaniel Mayer). Also, I think Glenn Tilbrook's voice sometimes sounds like Rodriguez.

when i saw him play a few years back (2008?) he had Danny, along with Brad (Human Eye) and Dave (SSM, The Sights). What a lineup!!

I just got the live album done is South Africa in 1998 - didn't even know it existed - pretty great

I dunno how I got a hold of it but was listening to Cold Fact over here in Oz in the mid 70's and have pulled it out every now again since and marvelled at what a great album it is

Had the "Searching for Sugarman" sountrack double LP for one night Thursaday... I was DJ-ing, wanted to play "I Wonder", but when I cracked it open, it had 2 of the second record in it, and I had to return it. The store's other copy was the same, BEWARE!

Saw him last night in Cowtown. He was great, did a couple of covers, & his youngest was behind the merch table. Charming girl.

Awesome everything. Buck wild on the 60 Minutes clip when the daughter hoped he'd buy a new pair of glasses.
