Anything going on this year? I live here and I haven't heard about a goddamn thing...seems like it's approaching rather quickly (about a month away from today).

That davilla mardi gras day show last year was awesome! I tried to convince Matt that he should do something like that again. Maybe get the Oblivians (I'm looking at you guys!!! You should do this.) to come down. He just looked at me like I was an asshole.

I think Matt needs to do a Rockening II, this fall.

Rockening III. Rockening II was evacuated to the Hi-Tone.

Oh yeah, I was thinking it was Rockening I that was moved to the HiTone but Rockening I actually did occur at One Eyed Jacks.

Maybe we should skip to Rockening IV just in case somebody had one while no one was paying attention. Just in case.

Rockening IV -make it happen!

Only if we insist people pronounce it "Rockening The Fourth"

I know I can count on you to spearhead this, Chris. I know right now that in about 9 months I'm going to want to come down there and play a show. My bass is pregnant with desire.

I want the Icky Boyfriends to be there. And Human Eye. And Midnight. And Tire Fire. And Jim J Bullock.

BUCK BILOXI AND THE FUCKS

Mars?

NOT the old NYC No Wave band. This is someone else.

True Sounds Of Thunder and The Black & Whites et al. are much needed in this swamp-pit of Rust Rock.
