This may be all over mainstream T.V., I wouldn't know, but it's kind if interesting:

Matthew Belloni, news director of The Hollywood Reporter, said Hollywood trade newspapers didn't cover celebrities' private lives back in the day. However, Wood's death made headlines because of the mysterious circumstances surrounding the incident.

how foreign.

Sambeaux I can't read music...but I like the lyrics.

I have an academic friend, her background is in womens studies and anthropology, and she tells me that people were way freakier back in the day.

I mean the reason it wasn't uncommon for married couples sleep in seperate beds wasn't even so much out of quaintness or politeness, but because alot of them would just go on living their own lives and sleeping with whoever they felt like. Alot of marriages were based on convenience or politics.

These days, it's almost common knowledge that James Dean was bisexual leaning more towards the gay side, and he even alluded to it in interviews, it wasn't even that he was closeted. That was sort of the norm....people have a miscontrued idea of what society used to be like...

"They left the restaurant in a drunken mess, boarded a small dinghy and motored to the Splendor. Exactly what happened from this point forward will probably always be a bit unclear. Walken, Wagner and Wood continued their partying as Captain Davern began his last rounds of shutting down the boat. "

The sexual revolution sort of brought the stuff out in the open and had the reverse effect of making alot of things even more taboo. At least that's what she says.

I've wondered if Robert Wagner finally lost it after another of Wood's indiscretions.

I wrote this.

Dude, you were in Fat Day? If so, did you have a role in KBD #12? Did you write the liners for that one? Again, if so, kudos.

I used to know some Natalie Wood jokes from Blanche Knott's Truly Tasteless Jokes, but have since forgotten them. One was, I think, what's the diff between Natalie Wood and actual wood? Wood floats.

No, I wasn't in Fat Day.
Yes, someone in that scene put that out -so told to me by a friend of Fat Day.

A little known fact is that Natalie Wood starred in a shit porn called "Splendor Out The Ass"

Whoo-hoo. 'Ludes party!!!!

Robert Wagner that he was not content entertaining his wife's Brainstorm co-star, Christopher Walken aboard this cruise to Catalina Island. As the day progressed, the tension thickened and I offered Christopher Walken, Natalie Wood, and Robert Wagner each a big fat fuckin 'Lude, which we all took," Captain Davern states in the declaration.

Investigators said they had not contacted Wagner about the new information. They said Wagner was not a suspect.

i dont get it. who is a suspect then? why reopen the case? walken? the ship captain? what would their motives be? noone else was on the boat...

nobody but the husband seems to have had motive or opportunity, so if he is not a suspect, then, what the fuck? am i missing something here???

ok 23 minutes later...

my brain has done some simple math. 4 people on the boat. one is dead. one is the captain who brought forward new information. one is the husband, who police say is not a suspect...

so... christopher walken killed natalie wood??? why???

still dont get it.

Officer Brad is on the case.

he obviously drowned the bitch for not supplying enough cowbell.

Officer Brad is on the case.

my understanding is that there is no case.

there were only four people on that boat, one is dead and two are not talking. the drunk and on drugs boat captain, who admits lying to police, is coming forward after 30 years claiming "new recollections".

that is not a case, its a damn joke. who stands to profit? who needs the money? think maybe lying drunk and on drugs boat captain is doing this to bring publicity to his recently published book?

the only thing i do not understand is why the cops are wasting the time and money to reopen the case. distraction tactic i suppose. this is hardly even news, after this long there is not going to be any new evidence.

no DA is going to prosecute based on the recent 30 year old recollections of a drunk, drugged, liar. a judge would laugh it straight out of court.

Hart to Hart would have solved this shit real quick.

I think Wagner killed her...he was a spoiled motherfucker on drugs, let his estranged wife drown. Happens all of the time, William Shatner has supposedly killed two of his wives.
