Are there any Chicago peeps out there who have mastered this drum machine? I need help on a few different areas. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you try searching youtube? A quick search showed a few tutorials... I didn't watch them, but you might give it a try.

go to the hideout on any given wednesday night for improv/jazz. whoever is drumming could do just as good as any box. tim daisy especially.

That's the oldest industry standard drum machine around...I can understand if you just want some one on one time with cool Goners but....
