You know...
Black Flag...
Insect spray...
Get it?
Posted: Mar 31, 2011 6:18 pm
I already did that joke.
Posted: Mar 31, 2011 6:19 pm
You didn't call me on the phone to tell me about it.
Posted: Mar 31, 2011 6:20 pm
Also, wouldn't be the first time Keith Morris stole from Black Flag.
Posted: Mar 31, 2011 6:20 pm
I'm slipping.

I like em. Morris was the best BF singer anyway so he can take anything he wants

dude practically invented it.

he's a Hot Shot.

I like Keith a lot. I wanted more of a varied "delivery" (like the Circle Jerks albums). Pretty good, but not my favorite.
Posted: Apr 1, 2011 1:12 pm
I guess you could say he's the Regent of delivery.

In other news, I'm still ticked about the bogus mp3 download.
Posted: Apr 1, 2011 1:18 pm
Do you want me to copy the mp3s to a thumbdrive and mail them to you?
Posted: Apr 1, 2011 1:40 pm
Thanks, but no. I already ripped 'em from the records. It's like they're hand-crafted mp3s, and probably worth more on eBay.
Posted: Apr 1, 2011 2:02 pm
I was gonna say, you could probably find them on Mediafire or Rapidshare.

Morris was the best BF singer

No way...DEZ....with Chavo right on his heels..

No way...DEZ....with Chavo right on his heels..

Pffft. Nothing compares to the Nervous Breakdown 7 incher

So, what's the best cut? Love Keith but can't see myself buying a collector box of hardcore 7 inches at the moment. Somebody steer me towards the killer track.
Posted: Apr 5, 2011 8:59 am
I like the first 7" the best. Especially "Darkness":

Or maybe "Upside Down":
Posted: Apr 5, 2011 10:40 am
"BLAST" first song on the B-Side of the 3rd 7":
Posted: Apr 5, 2011 10:42 am
Darkness or Jeffery Lee Pierce.
Saw em a few weeks ago, very good. You can do a lot worse than sounding like early Black Flag...

"Upside Down":

and especially

"BLAST" first song on the B-Side of the 3rd 7":

i'd get it if i saw it at a store. i need to open my own.

None of their songs are better than any of the songs on Group Sex or Wild in the Streets. Maybe better than some on Golden Shower of Hits.
Posted: Apr 6, 2011 3:09 pm
Golden Shower of Hits is at least half awesome. When the Shit Hits the Fan, High Price on Our Heads, Coup d'Etat, Product of My Environment, Rats of Reality, Junk Mail, Golden Shower of Hits= classics. That's 7 out of 12
Posted: Apr 6, 2011 4:11 pm
I like Murder the Disturbed too.
Posted: Apr 6, 2011 5:26 pm
In spite of the lyrics on High Price on Our Heads, the guitar makes it one of my favorite jams.

I gave a copy to Steve at Murphys a few weeks ago, and told him I wish Wonderful had been VI, and this box set had been Wonderful.

Couple of decent tunes on that. Just a couple.

You can do a lot worse than sounding like early Black Flag.

Upside Down vid. Keith's dread head looks thinning. Get OFF the skateboard thing already!
Damn those Cali people...
