Our cat's favorite food is ham. He also loves french fries from Checkers.

specifically, black forest ham

he also snacked on my powdered donuts recently.

I've gotten my dog to eat hazelnuts. He kinda likes how they crunch and they're tastier than sticks.

found some cat teeth marks on a bag of rice. exploratory, but not eviscerating.

Raw and unsalted.

One of my cats loves olives. Sometimes I think he gets high off them. We cut them up into little pieces and put 'em on a plate. Afterwards we find him rubbing his head in the oil!
He likes vanilla ice cream too.

Shelled?

Shelled?
Yes. As he's not a parrot, I imagine those shells would be a little bit too slippery and awkwardly shaped to clamp down on. Never tried it though.

i think thats why, its a challenge and it keeps him occupied.
my dog will eat pretty much anything i hand him. except lemons and limes. and beer. he does like a whiskey sour every now and again tho.
his fav snacks are carrots, ice cubes, pizza crust and tortilla chips

i think it's pretty safe to say that most cats are mongoloids.

The cat I received on my 16th birthday is going on 21 (human years) sometime in March. You do the math. Her name is Seka. I named her. Sleeps all the time, but doesn't bother with eating mice anymore. Fucking really tough tortie...

The cats ate cake batter this weekend. I think we're going to have a battle for the beaters next time the kids are here when I make a cake.

Last night Miss Sadie Mae decided, "dill pickles is tasty".

Squeaky passed away this morning after a brief illness. She was my best friend. RIP.

Sorry, that sucks. I've lost two really cool pets in the last year. I generally like them more than people.

Our cat loves olives as well. Goes bonkers as soon as the jar is opened.

Sorry to hear that. Several years ago I had a cat that got hit by a car. Got out of an open window, not supposed to be outside. Worst thing ever.

Sorry Riggler. That sucks. We are going to be devastated when ours go.

Here's a shitty video I took of our bad kitty trying to bathe himself. For some reason he hasn't figured it out yet. I think I'm going to start calling him Elaine.

Sorry Ned. I tell myself my cats will never die everyday.

They have nine lives you know. Which one was Squeaky on?

Sorry to hear that. We had a cat named Squeaky growing up. Gone but not forgotten.

Sorry about your cat. Losing Wiley (our dog) was one of the worst experiences I've ever had.

Pets greatly improve the quality of our lives, but that's exactly why it's so hard when we lose them.

Sorry, man. That's terrible.
R.I.P. Squeaky.

Sorry to hear that Rich Riggler. My cat Seka passed away last week at the age of 20. Perhaps Squeeky and Seka are out mousing in cat heaven.

No kidding. I lost my beloved James Brown (gray tabby) on Tuesday, December 9th, 2009. I'm still not over it. He went through seven (?) moves with me. At least he made it to 18 - I was kinda hoping for 20. I didn't post about it because I was too broken up.

Sorry to hear about yours too, TGC. I know they're all up there somewhere. I'll never forget when JB brought me a very much alive blue jay (in the days when he still went outside.) I had to put the thing out of its misery. Not fun, but he was so proud.
