Little Fyodor ruled in the 80s. Not sure what he's like these days.

He and Babuska still do shows in CO, tho.

Hmmm...any of you actually live in Denver? Snake Mountain is great. The Geniuses are great. Boss 302 is great, if they'd play again... The Omens aren't too shabby. Taun Taun is good. Go check out some bands at Bar Bar and get off of Broadway...

Hmmm...any of you actually live in Denver?

Did for 7 years...left in March...fucking hated it. I have almost seen 7 years worth of amazing shows/bands in the few months I've been here in Portland... doesn't give me that Denvoid time back...BUT IT HELPS!

Denver is among the least happening/ most in love with itself places I ever lived. It used to be backwater, cool, and a cheap place to live but has become an ugly victim of Californication.

Little Fyodor
Ralph Gean
Woven Hand
Slim Cessna's Auto Club
Planes Mistaken for Stars

Lot's of weird good roots music, but not much else. Touring bands stop there frequently.

I beg to differ!

Bum Kon and Frantix were from the Mile High City.
Posted: Mar 31, 2010 4:01 pm
Singer from Bum Kon is now in Hank IV, and the Frantix turned into The Fluid!
Posted: Mar 31, 2010 4:02 pm
never even heard of an LA Homesick Abortions
Jim went onto Los Luchadores and now he's in some band called Lying Bitch and the Restraining Orders I think

Bum Kon, The Frantix, and Superbuick were all good old Denver bands
