Also anyone fly with an infant lately what are the rules?

That's a very good place to start your comparison shopping. As far in advance as possible!

I concur with the booking in advance advice. Especially if you're flying in high season. I usually fly with one airline or family of airlines so I can keep racking up miles in the same place. Because of this I generally book through that airline's website directly. I sometimes will do a quick pulse check on Orbitz to see how the competition is looking though.
