good names too!
Posted: Oct 7, 2009 10:55 pm
hey talbot, i don't know you but i give you my congrats! as a parent of a 23 yo daughter and a 19 yo son, i know you will find it's amazing adventure to be a parent. i heard someone say once that as a parent you find the "highs are higher and the lows are lower" and i know exactly what he meant. at the risk of sounding cliche, i would do it over again and again, but i think i'll wait to be a grandfather instead!
also save every penny you have, cause college is really really expensive!!!
Posted: Oct 7, 2009 11:00 pm
Amen, rocket craig!
My "baby" turns 15 tomorrow. He has two big "bubbas". It's NUTS! But all worth it.

Posted: Oct 8, 2009 10:53 pm
Nah, no problem. No thunder stolen. I share a birthday with your girl Audrey.
Congrats. I love these little dudes so much. They have musician's fingers...I'm thinking either piano or bass...long, impressive little fingers.

Bass? Why not something cool? Aim high for these younguns!

Okay- compromise! Put matching 8-string basses in their hands RIGHT NOW!

I know you're rockin' the Jaco 24-7 already! They'll be killing it in months!
Posted: Oct 9, 2009 9:34 am
these kids better be fretless.
Posted: Oct 9, 2009 10:48 am
Currently playing them Stanley Clarke's "I wanna play for you"!
Jaco is next. Fretless 25 string bass bass prodigies!
Posted: Oct 9, 2009 11:20 am
Screw Baby Einstein. Eric, you could get rich with Baby Goner! I'd buy baby goner stuff! Not due til the end of March. Lets get this line of merch and lp's going!!!!
Posted: Oct 9, 2009 11:38 am
Dude, for real. Baby Goner!

And, as a heads up, we found out that caffeinated beverages + breastfeeding = HYPER BABY!
She was freaking out for about 5 hours.
All because Mommy had a coke with dinner.
We were warned by the hospital and the lactation specialist (yeah, I know, they exist). But, I guess we had to put our hand to that proverbial hot plate to find out. Lesson learned.
