Sahara, the old Bogart movie, is my favorite war-time made WWII movie. I just saw Decision before Dawn recently and was very impressed.

some decades ago, when the Mujahadeen was shit kickin' them rushies in poppyland, a movie made the rounds. It was in Russian and most of it was set in a tank on patrol in the rough and tumble. Does this ring any bells?
