I don't have anything formally put together (started a while ago, but it's not complete), but I think the only folks to have played every Gonerfest are:
King Louie, Lisa Roe and Scott Rogers.

I think Jay Reatard comes next with most performances under different configurations.

Actually, come to think of it, Louie, then Jay.

I've had a lot of configurations.

Lisa did not play Gonerfest 5...

however either Lisa or I have played at every single one - ROEs before Ho's

How about this...who that does NOT live in Memphis has been to EVERY Gonerfest?

Also you get extra points if you know the answer to this question:

What band did Dave Head "steal" a record from at Gonerfest 1?

HA! I forgot about that...

Robin (Dickface), you left me off of your list. You hurt my fucking feelings.
Posted: Aug 31, 2009 12:22 pm

For some reason, I thought Cococoma played GFV, but I guess it was just A/V Murder.

Tommy Trouble = Most consistent haircut, except the blonde year.

I don't think Jeff or Ross played GFI, did they? Otherwise, they'd be on the list, too.

Ah, fuck it. I'll go back and build the thing, and then I'll get some real statistics.

Another trivia question: What band took Jay's slot at GFV, and probably had the best "dream come true" story of the year?
Posted: Aug 31, 2009 12:38 pm

Ryan Rousseau has played every one, if you count Reatards afterparty the 1st year, i think...

I would like to configure how I'm finna get up on the GF6..set me up a donation fund, couple a bucks.. so's I can get my Amtrak on!!

I think we talked about that once before. If you include after-parties, though, then you have to include impromptu musical break-outs at the Artisan. Also whatever doo-wop thing that I think Joe, deadcityrebel and dtrain and I busted out in the alleyway at the store.

Red Panda..wasnt that a Star Wars pilot..?

I'm pretty sure Marsh doesn't remember GFIV as on night we drove to Darcy's house with him passed out... under all of our equipment.

Posted: Sep 1, 2009 12:51 pm

I rescued Marsh at the first one. You were wandering around in the middle of nowhere (nowhere near the Bucc) and you crossed the street right in front of our van which already had 15 people in it. Somebody grabbed you and threw you on top of the pile and then we drove to XYZ if i remember correctly..

speaking of statistics...

i was flying recently and browsed through the rock mags and saw Goner front and center. has anyone else noticed that Goner (ty segal, box elders...) has gotten reviewed in rolling stone, spin, pitchfork, um...everywhere? alongside the big indies like matador, ITR, sub pop, etc etc and also the majors (um, do major labels even exist anymore?)?

god knows i'm out of the loop--and have been for about 2 years now--but those sightings gave me goner pride!
Posted: Sep 1, 2009 3:11 pm

RIP - two way. Some goner needs to re-open it for Gonerfest. Kinda like those Halloween USA stores.

Not true. In '06, you couldn't take a shit in their house without seeing a clown. Creepy. But I love that family so....

In other news, the thing I'm making may need some help in figuring out band members and song titles and incomplete set lists.
Posted: Sep 2, 2009 3:03 am

p.s., it's my own calculationating machine; not for overt consumption.
Neat to look at, though.
