i need one. i used to have a danelectro danecho that i really liked. thinking about getting another unless there is something comparably good/better

I have a Maxon analog delay (AD9), it rules. Electro harmonix Memory Man is also killer. both are gonna be alot more $$$ than one of those danelectros though.

I used to use a Boss DD-9 Digital Delay pedal, which is fun to play around with; that's probably an old model and no longer made, though.

the best stomp-box, actual on the floor pedal delay is a 70s/80s era Ibanez analog delay(if you dont want the hassle an actual tape delay requires)

this is the good shit (this one is over priced however)

...digital delay doesnt have any of the grit, or the build-up of noise that real tape delays (echoplex, space echo) have..and if you are wanting to use delay for a slap-back/echo..digital sucks because it is too clean...just a picture made out of ones and zeros...awlays go analog when it comes to effects..otherwise you should just get some lame-ass alesis rack thingy. My 2.

The Boss/Roland RE-20 is supposed to sound just like the Roland RE-201 space echo. I use it for bass, keys and vocals. I think it sounds awesome and it also makes some pretty far out oscillations, duuuude.

I like the butthurt reviews how it "isnt professional" and too noisy....probably some douchetard and his Line 6 amp in a U2 cover band or something.

I really dig the EH Deluxe Memory Man.

It's pricey... but compared with this stuff it's sounds a shit oad better.

The Boss pedal's oscillations sound like a baby being suffocated: QUIET, WEAK AND PATHETIC (and a little sexy?)

When I manually fuck with the MM to make it oscillate I'm worried my fucking speakers are gonna explode!

I use an Ibanez DE-7 Echo/Delay... I like it. It's affordable and does the trick.
