Project Runway’ to Return in August

Compiled by DAVE ITZKOFF
Published: April 21, 2009

In an announcement that will both delight and perplex fans of the fashion reality show “Project Runway,” the Lifetime Channel said on Tuesday that it had set a premiere date for the new season, but it won’t come until August. The debut of the sixth season of “Project Runway,” scheduled for Aug. 20, has been delayed for months by litigation between the Weinstein Company, which produces the show, and NBC Universal, the parent company of Bravo, which broadcast its first five seasons. This month the Weinstein Company paid an undisclosed settlement to NBC Universal. A spokeswoman for the Weinstein Company said that despite the settlement, the company did not concede that it had acted improperly in selling “Project Runway” to Lifetime.

Sucked. Bad.

DVR-ed it--watched other shows, including Survivor which would suck so bad if not for this ridiculous guy, Coach AKA The Dragonslayer AKA The Warrior AKA The Maestro.

He's pretty entertaining.

Plus Taj from SWV is on there and she is married to pimp Eddie George who showed up to go to Exile Island with her.

Damned lot of weirdos. Made me so long for Santino...or even MILAN!
Did like the dude from Chattanooga okay. That was it.

Ugliest clothes ever. No one can sew worth a damn. What's up with that? Stupid challenges...stupid clothes to challenges. Like, when was the last time a pair of grey satin cropped harem pants was a "must have" wardrobe item?

Totally stupid.

dammit, i missed most of the damn thing and what i did see was a lot of crazy puckers on clothing and anyone ever heard of a steamer? and there seemed to be a lot of fake weirdos. eco friendly, i work with plastic blah blah...
i need to see whole thing.

Very huge deal--not that I know the context--is that where a lot of the kids are from?

It's not a huge deal! Especially if you don't give a shit.

That could be taken 2 ways, and I'm o.k. with both of them

rock of daisy love boat

I cannot believe I missed the premiere--was it last night?????
Posted: May 11, 2009 12:42 pm

the daisy show has been on for a few episodes and is a complete trainwreck and mostly unwatchable. she let go of a psycho guy named "flipper" who was pretty fun to watch. other than that, i can't stomach most of it but watch bits and pieces for it's shock and horror value!

Rodarte at Target line out this AM! Some surprisingly cute pieces and it is slightly less spendy than the Anna Sui stuff. I got a floral t due to Xmas brokeness, but there are some very pretty dresses & a sexy pair of denim shorts for the long-legged ladies.

I went...tried on damn near the whole collection. Dresses fit great and were cute but all the bows and lace looked a little too much like I was wearing my daughter's clothes. The grey and white sequined tank dress was hot as hell, but they'd sold out of every size but XL and XS...squeezed in to the little one, but it clearly was not intended to fit tightly. I got a cami and the cardigan...cute!
