Does this (the legit 'Over The Edge' reissue) sound a lot better than that boot version?

yes. It should be pretty obvious for the following

1. how did they boot it, off of virgin vinyl maybe or the master tapes...uhhhhhhhh

2. boots uhhhhhhhhh usually sound like crapshit

3. I have not compared them but based on the former I believe I do not need to waste my time as i think between fucking underage boys greg did a knock up remastermix job. Then again I have not compared

The Jackpot re-issue of 'Is This Real?' sounds awesome, see no reason why the other two re-issued LP's wouldn't sound equally as great. I always view a bootleg as just an inferior copy that'll hold me until I can either lay my hands on an original or a legit re-issue.

All 3 of the Wipers reissues sound amazing - absolutely worth re-buying. Plus the LP jackets are the really nice old-skool "Stoughton" jackets - heavy duty!
