I daydream about making a trip from Chicago to Atlanta just to get onion rings at the Varsity.

onion rings at the Varsity.

YES! good stuff. i forgot about that place. i'm going to put that on my list of things to do next weekend.

i am gonna be down there to skate in a derby bout and then gotta hit up the afterparty for a few minutes at graveyard tavern. the earl looks to be pretty close to there, so i'll hop on over to that then.

thanks for the info!

Your set for Saturday night once you get to Graveyard. I would duck out of there asap and make stops at The Gravity for pinball and The Flatiron for a couple shots before walking over to The Earl.

elle, take note. b/c we are doing all of those things while we are there. and, of course, ikea before returning!!! yes!

Cool, I'm gonna need info on Memphis antiquing and thrift for when we come there in June.

Here's Nobunny, courtesy of RPD3!

ooh there's a lot of good stuff here. for antiquing, one of the best places to go is out on summer ave. -- it's called bojo's. they've got a LOT of really great stuff to look around at. thriftwise, there's a few places out near bojo's up and down that same street. also, elvis presley blvd has amvets on the way to graceland (a lil past the street you turn off onto to go to stax.) there's a few antique places on union, but i like bojo's better.

thanks for the link to the video. wish i coulda made it to the show, but i didn't drive and the crew was wantin to go get into some rowdiness.

what is 529, scott?

529 is a new club in the same neighborhood as Earl and Graveyard. Small room with a small bar attached. Its a lot of fun, Goodnight Loving plays tomorrow!
