Solo cdr w/ beadwork should start going out the week of the 23rd, with contributers getting their's first. Thanks for everyone who played on it. Locals may start getting their copies next week.

did anyone ever end up bidding on the one with the largest beadwork that you put up for the auction? I sure hope so.
Posted: Mar 11, 2009 12:18 pm

Yep. Sam from TSOT/Mangina got it. It got lost on the way to him, but I'm making him another one.
Posted: Mar 11, 2009 12:44 pm

Box of nothing.
Posted: Mar 11, 2009 1:14 pm

By the way, I 86'ed "Spending Action Man's Money". There's already one song about the internet on there. Any more and I'd be ripping off LiveFastDie.

Track List:
You Suck
Black President
Chico Is a Cop-Caller
Four-Track
Huffin' Stuff
Late Night Charlie
Lazor
Sensitive Guy
Short Song
Sweaters
Tickles
Weirdpunk Is Just Psych with a Drum Machine
Posted: Mar 11, 2009 1:16 pm

But that would've made 13 tracks!
Posted: Mar 11, 2009 1:19 pm

I still have the track, I'll save it for the boxed set after 2012.
Posted: Mar 11, 2009 1:22 pm

I'm bummed I missed out on this

Kids let this be a lesson to you: don't end up like Robin Pack-making macrame and bad records.
Posted: Mar 11, 2009 2:57 pm

Free to most, but I really need to cut it off at 51 copies. Beads, string and shipping cost a little more than I budgeted for. Unless somebody picks it up, I'll post all the tracks online later for anyone who wants it.
Posted: Mar 11, 2009 3:00 pm

It's a cdr, harelip. Don't you have some customers to wait on, you big working-stiff lug? 9/11 victims need any saving? Mayflower relatives to scam?

anyone ever come back from the dentist with a mouth full of novocaine and tried to smoke a cigarrette?
Posted: Mar 11, 2009 3:08 pm

If by novocaine, you mean dick, then, no.
Posted: Mar 11, 2009 10:01 pm

I've been hearing great things about your feelings Jack. Count me in for a copy pleeze!
Posted: Mar 11, 2009 11:55 pm

Miss Faye, you were on the list weeks ago. You're o.k.
Posted: Mar 11, 2009 11:59 pm

Chris, I'll make you one, too.
Limited edition of 52.
I'll make others, but you gotta pay shipping.
Fuck the haters.
Posted: Mar 12, 2009 12:07 am

i want one too, robin! :D pretty please!?

anyone ever come back from the dentist with a mouth full of novocaine and tried to smoke a cigarrette?

and yes, back when i smoked i tried that. it's pretty weird. but not quite as funny as tryin' to drink anything with a mouth full of novocaine. actually, it's more funny if you're watchin someone else with a mouth fulla novocaine tryin' to drink somethin as it's dribblin' down their chin. awesome.

Ahahaha! You rule, dude. I'm looking forward to hearing this. That little "preview" I heard of 'Sweaters' changed my life.

1/5th distributed yesterday and today, the rest of the locals will get their cd and beadwork this weekend. I need to save up for some extra jewel-case sleeves, but should ship early next week.
Posted: Mar 26, 2009 8:29 pm

p.s., yes, there really is beadwork. I love you people that much.
Posted: Mar 27, 2009 5:26 pm

When do I get mine?!

and

Did you ever consider calling it "No Jackoff Required"?
Posted: Mar 27, 2009 5:35 pm

Why is "Short Song" one of the longest songs on this thing?
Posted: Mar 27, 2009 6:17 pm

Who do I have to strangle to get mine?
Posted: Mar 27, 2009 7:01 pm

Why is "Short Song" one of the longest songs on this thing?

Have you seen Jack Stands? That dude is living breathing Irony.

Listened to Huffin Stuff 12 times in row yesterday driving back out to the county. Song sticks in your ears like glue in your nose.
Posted: Mar 27, 2009 9:31 pm

When do I get mine?!

First 12 (minus Wire's) already went out. I have to go by some more internet paper tomorrow to print the rest of the jewel case sleeves.
I've already started on your beadwork redux.

Why is "Short Song" one of the longest songs on this thing?
Because it's all written in haiku.

Who do I have to strangle to get mine?
Got your's and your sister's discs and beadwork ready to go, but the tail-end of this week has been a little crazy (including me flaking on practice, but Monday, HEAVY BEAGLE! at Murphys - Useless Eaters and TSOT across the street! Gonna be a fun Monday night.)

Bullyrook, the picture is perfect, and Jahna Rain, the artwork is impeccable. I do have your jewel-case ready finally.

Thanks everybody who helped. I'll get all the credits right eventually.

sounds great, made jeannie listen while she was trying to work, still trying to figure out what to do with beadwork(maybe sew it on a jacket) copy is on the way to aus
Posted: Mar 28, 2009 12:32 am

maybe sew it on a jacket
Let me sew it onto some elk hide (traditional style) before you try that. should make it easier.
Posted: Mar 28, 2009 1:42 am

What's retail? Derek wants one.

Because it's all written in haiku.

Like "Sour and Vicious Man"? Oh, wait. That's limericks. Carry on.

I'm pretty stoked I got in on time. I'll burn one for Max and he'll be stoked too. "You Suck" is an anthem I put in playlists when I'm mad at my coworkers right alongside "Bummer Bitch" and "Fantasy Boys".

edit: suggestions please! My shaggs CD is skipping!
Posted: Mar 28, 2009 10:22 am

Woo! Can't hardly wait!
Posted: Mar 29, 2009 9:39 pm

What's retail?
There is no retail, no plans to sell any at the store, even. Just free fun for friends in a world of "artists" blowing their own minds.

I'll burn one for Max
Hell yeah! Tell Max I said "Howdy", too.
Posted: Mar 29, 2009 9:59 pm

"artists" blowing their own minds.

Go listen to some jangle-jangle, Daddyo.
Anyone want Joe's copy?
Posted: Mar 29, 2009 10:28 pm

just cuz i ain't getting one doesn't mean you won't get a shitty review in my zine.
Posted: Mar 30, 2009 12:29 am

Jesus, Joe. Will you put on your "man-pants" for a second?
Posted: Mar 30, 2009 11:09 am

Several of these going out today.
It just came to my attention that the inside notes have tracks 5 and 6 listed in opposite order.
You get what you pay for.
Please take a pen and draw arrows, making the appropriate indications if you're anal about it.

First wave that went out should be arriving today.
Going to send a few more out this afternoon.

p.s., Sam, This is the last time I'm making yours. I'll put it in your hands, but I need to know your hat size.
Posted: Apr 1, 2009 12:45 pm

I need to send something to Arman, do you want me to send him one in the package I have prepared to send him?
Posted: Apr 1, 2009 12:46 pm

Hat size... Try L or maybe 8.25?
Posted: Apr 1, 2009 1:51 pm

Hey, Sam, I may take you up on that. I can split the postage with you.
Posted: Apr 1, 2009 1:55 pm

Posted: Apr 1, 2009 1:57 pm

Posted: Apr 1, 2009 2:25 pm

ohmygod...i can't stop cracking up.... and i haven't even listened yet!
Posted: Apr 1, 2009 3:46 pm

All the people around me in line at the emissions station got to hear the whole thing, and most of it twice.
I don't know about them, but I sure liked You Suck, Chico is a Cop Caller, Huffin Stuff, Midnight Charlie, Sweaters, and Weirdpunkmachine.
Absolutely a "the louder the better" album.
Posted: Apr 1, 2009 5:33 pm

Just got mine! Cranked it in the car. Then I tortured my downstairs neighbor with it for a while.

Absolutely a "the louder the better" album.

YES! I DIG IT! Fun stuff, Jack! And the beadwork is nice, too.
Posted: Apr 1, 2009 8:57 pm

i'm having a tough time deciding but i think tickles is my fav.
Posted: Apr 1, 2009 9:57 pm

Don't worry about the postage. I needed to send him something he left here anyways.
Posted: Apr 1, 2009 10:20 pm

Cool. Let me know how I can get it to you.
Posted: Apr 1, 2009 10:24 pm

I didn't play on Tickles.
Posted: Apr 1, 2009 10:33 pm

Robin, can I pick up our copies this weekend?
Posted: Apr 1, 2009 10:57 pm

Yep.
Posted: Apr 2, 2009 1:31 am

Hey, Sam. I'm sitting up finishing your beadwork, but this may take a couple of days. Problem isn't your beadwork, nor the head-dress, I just have to finish out the rest of the loom, and there have been a couple of others I need to make this stuff for. Can you wait until saturday to send to Arman? His beadwork is done already, but I can't pull your stuff off before. Monday would be best, but I'll try to crank this shit out quick. I think you're gonna like it.

p.s., for everybody else, this is now a limited edition of 60. I'm a little over-budget, so if you sent me an e-mail before a month ago, beadwork will be included.

Anybody else, I may make some extra discs-only to sell at goner because this project was expensive.

Otherwise, somebody else put this shit out on a record. I've already moved on to the kids album.
From this point out, though, I'm not making any more patches.

No hurry. I was figuring you could leave it at Goner. I think I'm working on school work this weekend (not going out).

I can wait. I don't think Arman is in a hurry for a womens size s, black velvet jacket.
Posted: Apr 2, 2009 8:49 am

I didn't get it yet, though our Post Office is ridiculously slow here. I'm going to wait by the mailbox all day today.

despite the fact that the millionaire and scott rogers on on this thing... this is a great album by a middle aged dude!
Posted: Apr 2, 2009 2:16 pm

Maybe he should have asked you to "play" on it, though I'm not sure there was much need for pointless DJ chatter.
Posted: Apr 2, 2009 2:24 pm

i can play the drums and sing too!

stupid.
Posted: Apr 2, 2009 2:51 pm

Got just a few more of beadwork patches left over that I had to make for this run. One is going up to Chicago.
