I like side one of Anthem Of The Sun and "The Golden Road (To Ultimate Devotion" from their 1st album is hands down their best song. I tried to like the Dead and this was all I could find that interested me. It turned out that they really were pretty shitty.

"Cream Puff War" is way better than "Golden Road" to me.

Skull and Roses is pretty good. Big Railroad Blues rules. Europe 72 is pretty good too even though it's really not a real Live album what with the overdubs and all. And The Grateful Dead Movie Soundtrack and The Closing of Winterland are good too if quantity = quality to you. They were a lot more Punk than people give them credit for. Greg Ginn got a lot of ideas from them.

I like "Truckin'"!

I could listen to that song over, and over again till the neighbors complain!

Peace DUDE!

Not really my thing... but there are certainly way worse bands you could be listening to.
