The slide show is crucial.

I listened to the "Savage Sons of Ya Ho Wa" album briefly a few days ago and was under the impression that the cover is far more interesting than the music but that clip is really good. I can't get enough of violin Rock 'n' Roll/Punk/Psych.

Caught 'em on their NYC visit a few months ago when they played at the No-Neck space, and served up food made with the original Source restaurant recipes. Good cheesecake, good times!

Yeah, I've got the box set of the 13 or so albums. It's not really what you'd hope it would be but it's also not too bad. The Savage Sons is more sort of a California country rock/blues thing. I think the good albums are Expansion, Contraction and the Lovers or whatever it's called with Father Yod fucking that chick on the cover in the card. More jam band than Blue Cheer, think amon duul with better hair.

Is Ya Ho Wa 13 the TBA for Gonerfest V?!

Taking 108 breaths of fire, hoping it is so!

This recalls moments of any one of a number of Thinking Fellers shows at the Heinz Club circa 1991, minus the insane fans.

I dare the Lawrence of Arabia 1970 West Coast Hippie look to return...to Memphis (because I can bet that it has somewhere else)!
