Yes, thanks. Those are a lot better than my drunken/shakey/blurry ones.

Though I did get a good one of Roky giving the hands-clasped-over-head-victory-sign. (It was only later that I noticed I had taken a picture of the image projected on the screen above the balcony rather than aiming at the real stage just below it.)

The picture may be better than the actual performance. They did their "hit" twice at the end of the set which was great, but sitting through the bar band covers was a little bit of a beating. Pretty much what I expected but still pretty cool. A couple less guitarists may have helped.

I won't disagree krakhaus, the appeal was just seeing it and putting some faces to that mysterious sound from the 60's. I think it was great when Ira came and made them do the song over to match the intros on the single. Its one of those things only Dr. Ike would dream up.

It was probably the night of their lives, too!

Kinda the same reason I still haven't seen Kenny and the Kasuals even though I could walk over to the bar to see them. But I hear they're entertaining so time will tell.

Dr. Ike puts on a helluva show!!

CARPETBAGGER!!!! I don't know you, but I saw you snap the
Dr. John playing guitar shots from the only possible photographic
angle in the room (cause he was hiding behind the piano) and if looks
could kill you'd be thedeadcarpetbagger cause I heard every
photogeek around me groaning about your position for that one! Great stuff!!

Shit! How was Travis Wammack?

that's funny, unfriendly, I had a gut feeling about that spot and I camped out there for the whole Quezergue review. The sound guys hated me too but it turned out I could stay there cause Wardell needed help finding his seat and I knew him somewhat from a previous meeting.

Shit! How was Travis Wammack?

Missed him this go round but he was great in Memphis 2 years back...until he started singing; Shades of the "poor-man's-Kenny Rogers".

Travis sounded really good, he was on the big stage this year and was playing his ass off as usual.

True story: we brought ? to meet John C Reily so we could get the shot and after the introductions and photo ? looks over to him and says in his most pleasant conversational tone, "So what do you do?"

Well, I've seen most of those folks before, so I'm not jealous at all, really...damn! Great lineup, great pics. Nice job.

HA HA HA!!! Priceless.

Ronnie Spector!! Damn, forgot how much I loved that stuff.

I was expecting to hate the HOB but it was actually better in many ways.
