Yeah it did come out on vinyl. I saw a copy a few years back at a record store. My guess its probably not too difficult to find.

The Urge Overkill cover was good, too, though. Does Tarantino pick out all the music for his movies himself?

Boyd Rice claims that he selected the surf tracks.

Yuch I hated the Urge Overkill cover.

What a horrible band

seriously. its the only thing holding me back from buying the soundtrack

what about that horrible cover?

just get the reissue surf lp's from del-fi. they're alot cooler than just having one song by the 4 surf bands on the soundtrack. the other songs on there are really easy to come by too.

Bray! (Bray!)

The second bray is a reverbed-out echo of the first one.

I really dig the Del-Fi surf sound, even though it's totally pro sounding and clean, but what I really dig that Del-Fi did (and legitimately pro cuzza people like tommy tedesco & glenn campbell playing on em) is their drag beat records. the three on the top are all boss, and i think they all have organs!
