About this time last year another talk show host icon Mike Douglas passed away. All we have left is Dick Cavett. That was back in the days when talk shows were worth watching, now they(like all modern day TV) is shit!!!!

RIP Merv.

Hopefully he got a chance to enjoy a little bit of retirement. Isn't he worth Billions of dollars. What good is that money if you're working all the time? Long Live Dick!!

Total, Danny Terrio claims he was virtually a sex slave, with Merv the perv threatening to ruin his career if he left him...some career to ruin, eh? He'd have been better off with Jim Neighbors.
But can we all agree "Merv" is the best name ever?

Anybody ever hear the novelty records he cut?

Classic stuff, Dr. Demento used to play them...

"Way Out in the Twilight Zone" by Merv and The Screamin' Mee Mees!
and "A Night in a Haunted House"...

Would you sell it?

the man was a genius on so many levels, and rich too.

I'd take just 10% of the horses in his racing stable

I saw him on Tavis Smiley a few months ago and he was upbeat and very grateful for his good fortune. I do believe he preferred the company of men & Zsa Zsa was his beard.

One of the my favorite SCTV moments was a parody of the Andy Griffith Show with Merv as sherriff.
