not that I don't, my dvd is in the mail....

******************************

Roky Erickson, leader of the revolutionary 60's psychedelic masters "The 13th Floor Elevators", possesses one of the most amazing voices Rock n' Roll has ever heard. He also holds one of the most tragic stories Rock n' Roll has witnessed.

Known for his colossal heroin & LSD binges, struggles with schizophrenia, and an unthinkable term at Rusk hospital for the criminally insane, Roky went missing from the world. YOU'RE GONNA MISS ME reveals the shocking & triumphant truth behind one of Rock's great mysteries.

PALM Pictures is releasing YOU'RE GONNA MISS ME on DVD on July 10th. There will also be a soundtrack to the DVD containing songs by The 13th Floor Elevators as well as Roky solo goodies and some unreleased gems.

yes.... i too can highly recommend this film. its well done, there's plenty of music and the access the ericksons gave the filmmakers was seemingly unlimited and uncensored.

really good stuff.

Yep, they did a good job with the documentary. It's about time they got the facts straight.

Check out some of these amusing anecdotes from an ex-Elevator- http://www.mikesbandarchive.com/rgelevators.html

A friend's mom used to hang out with Roky and the Elevators back in the day, and a fellow co-worker of mine was their roadie once. In his words "...pfft...Roky...man, that guy was always wasted. I used to have to babysit him he was so out of it."

They all have gay, boring, non-racist football team names
