Posted: Mar 7, 2007 6:44 pm

it's kind of a pointless excersize in noise. great live band though.

You saw that 1st Shakedown show, right? Middle of the afternoon, next to nobody awake/there, and they fucking killed.
Posted: Mar 7, 2007 6:46 pm

didn't nick diablo have something to do with producing the first lp? couldn't find anything about that on itr's site, but did mention that greg produced 2nd

Yeah, they ruled! I saw them a time before that too at a shitty Vegas bar.

I like the record too.

Every Inch of My Love

The Next Train I See

I'm tempted to go see the Paul Cary thing Friday night, but I'll probably end up at the TNV thing instead.
Posted: Mar 7, 2007 7:17 pm

Paul is awesome! Go see him play! Then throw shit at us!!!!
Posted: Mar 7, 2007 9:05 pm

The first record is amazingly awesome, one of the best records ever and certainly not just a pointless excersize in noise! Their second album is not nearly as brilliant as their debut, but by no means blueshammerish. It is bluesy, but in a good punked-up way.

What's the email address of Pass Out? The email I've sent was undelivered. Apparently the email address on their website (passout@passoutrecordshop.com) does not work.

Somewhere around the house, I have a video of that. The drummer's floor tom falls at one point. He hits it & you can see it start to sink until it just falls over completely.

Saw that show too, and also have some awesome video! Haven't looked at it for a while but I do recall a couple of crazy leaps and some real dramatic amp bashing!!

At the risk of destroying a perfectly fine memory, would one of the legions of people with a tape of the LVS footage mind dubbing a copy for me?
Posted: Mar 9, 2007 11:01 pm

Yo the one they have at Pass Out is VENT. I checked last night.
Posted: Mar 10, 2007 12:18 am

Damn! Thanks anyway, dtrain.
So, what do I do now to get it, any ideas? Anybody???
Posted: Mar 10, 2007 9:13 pm

Try contacting the Autodramatics

Jasper, good luck finding a copy! I didn't even knew about IN THE RED releases being sold out. I thought the whole catalog was still in print...

The first Horrors record does not list the songs but Crypt once listed 'em in one of their cats:

1. Every Inch Of My Love
2. The Next Train I See
3. I Don't Need A Woman (I Need A Nurse)
4. Dot Com Stomp
5. Cold Blooded
6. Looking For Action

7. Hurt That Bird
8. Widow's Peak
9. Pick Myself Up
10. Tragic Woman
11. Back in the Cut

Although while typing this, I realize the CD probably lists the songs. Oh well...

Jasper, don't forget the Demon's Claws show at the Pit's!
Posted: Mar 11, 2007 6:52 pm

Yeah, I already knew the tracklisting.

And, fuck yeah, ofcourse i'm gonna be at the Pit's the 7th of April!!!!
