Avoid rap at all costs. The words come faster than you are ready for unless you know them all already. Worst performaces I have seen were to bust a move and crazy in love.

I say all billy joel all the time. with some ELO (telephone line in particular) thrown in

some of my friends play in a karaoke 'band'. they learn songs for people to sing to. they used to do it on a regular basis but then their real band started picking up and now they only do it for special occasions like private parties and weddings, they once told me they could play over 400 songs.

oh, i brought that up because i thought it would be nice to share their list of songs, but these guys are real luddites so the list is probably hand written and i don't feel like typing out the list. one of the guys doesnt even have a drivers license or an email address.

anyways, you should add miss you by the stones and da ya think i'm sexy by rod stewart. they do those songs and they're fun.
