Ally Mcbeal or Buffy
Posted: Oct 20, 2006 1:51 pm

Buffy was not cancelled. Angel was cancelled two years later, but Buffy was never cancelled.
Posted: Oct 20, 2006 1:57 pm
Arrested Development
Posted: Oct 20, 2006 2:32 pm
Get a Life
Posted: Oct 20, 2006 3:00 pm
Upright Citizens Brigade

Carnivale or Freaks & Geeks...

my older brother had tickets to see Lynard Skynard in Little Rock and then their plane crashed and the show was cancelled

Mr. Show, Arrested Development, Freaks and Geeks

Get a Life

Agreed, end of thread.

GOLDEN GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted: Oct 20, 2006 5:10 pm
Adventures of Pete and Pete
Posted: Oct 20, 2006 5:12 pm
Laurel and Hardy...
Posted: Oct 20, 2006 5:14 pm
Golden Girls was one of the best shows EVER but I dont' think it was cancelled, I think Bea Arthur quit and they didn't want to carry on without her. Hence the awful Golden Palace spin off where they owned a hotel which also featured Don Cheadle and Cheech.

The Tick
Posted: Oct 20, 2006 6:14 pm
CPO Sharkey and Daddy Dearest. Don Rickles rules!
Posted: Oct 20, 2006 6:30 pm
actually Buffy WAS cancelled - on the WB - but then it was picked up again & moved to UPN or wherever it went to.....
Posted: Oct 20, 2006 6:31 pm
yeah Freaks & Geeks was awesome....Undeclared could have become a really good show, had it been given the chance.
Posted: Oct 20, 2006 6:31 pm
Another vote for Get A Life.

I saw Chris Elliot at a screening of Cabin Boy last fall, and he said he'd just finished doing the audio commentary for a Get A Life DVD box set. But, here it is a year later and still ain't seen hide nor hair of it...
Posted: Oct 20, 2006 6:32 pm
Arrested Development, Carnivale. Freaks and Geeks, too...but I didn't even watch it until this year.

That ending to Carnivale was insane.
Posted: Oct 20, 2006 6:32 pm
Undeclared could have become a really good show

I watched this show on DVD and it made NO SENSE. One minute chick was his girlfriend, the next episode she was back with the other dude. It was all over the place. Good show, though.
Posted: Oct 20, 2006 6:33 pm

I meant dude...
Posted: Oct 20, 2006 6:38 pm
Arrested Development & Get a Life were the best shows cancelled but Manimal was pretty cool too.
Posted: Oct 20, 2006 6:47 pm
you're a manimal.
Posted: Oct 20, 2006 6:48 pm
what about family guy, though it was then ressurected by comedy chan
Posted: Oct 20, 2006 6:58 pm
The most satisfyingly-awesome thing to EVER be cancelled was Rollergirls. Fucking hilarious. And an embarrassment.

Uh...not really. The WB wouldn't pay what the Buffy people were asking for. UPN swept in during contract negotiations and offered them more than they were asking for with the WB, so they jumped networks.

rurnt fest
Posted: Oct 20, 2006 7:03 pm
I hope this Buffy disagreement ends in hair pulling and trips to the principals office.
Posted: Oct 20, 2006 7:05 pm

Wow, a number of things I wouldn't expect.
Posted: Oct 20, 2006 7:06 pm
I hope this Buffy disagreement ends in hair pulling and trips to the principals office.

Careful, you're talking about the best show EVER.
Posted: Oct 20, 2006 7:08 pm
To be fair, I have never seen an episode in its entirety.
Posted: Oct 20, 2006 7:21 pm
soap, arrested development and my so called life
Posted: Oct 20, 2006 7:33 pm
Black Lips & KKBBQ in Green Bay... but then we moved it to a basement and saved the day.

I remember once when I was in high school, the 5678's were supposed to play at Concert Cafe, but it didn't happen! Total bummer.

"Arrested Development" & "Freaks and Geeks". On the plus side, both series got wrapped up so well that I didn't really clamor for 'em to continue on or anything. At least they didn't get crappy, y'know?

Lula, I think that Undeclared had moments that didn't make sense cause they were cancelled and they either tried to cram more stuff in or didn't get to explain stuff, you know?
Posted: Oct 20, 2006 7:56 pm
Beat me to it. Ditto!

doesn't it suck that jared leto is really a douche?

to me, he'll always be that dreamy, illiterate bad boy with the hot car. Oh, how I wanted to Angela in that boiler room....
Posted: Oct 20, 2006 8:01 pm
Yeah, it does suck.
I got them all on video...I still watch them sometime.
Claire on SFU kind of reminds me of her...

what was that show about the doctor in alaska?

Northern Exposure

Since you guys fail to realize the real answer is Get A Life, I guess we will go on.

I'll throw one out there that may get attacked, but I don't care: The State. That shit was pretty classic. I wanna dip my balls in it, Doug, The Grungies, etc. I'd put it up against Upright Citizens Brigade (but probably not kids in the hall).

Wet Hot American Summer was pretty funny, too. And of course I'm a fan of Reno 911 because I'm convinced these peeps can do no wrong.
Posted: Oct 20, 2006 10:32 pm
yes, thats right, kids in the hall, get a life and freaks and geeks.
Posted: Oct 20, 2006 10:51 pm

I miss Soap too, jessiebelle. I love Katherine Helmond.

What about Who's the Boss, Family Ties, Mamma's Family, Seinfeld and Dennis the Menace.

Last weekend the Intelligence had a show that was cancelled then moved then cops shut it down then it was moved again but, I was already home. The Next night was the Hospitals Show...Their Van broke down in Bakersfield and they never made it to LA. Bummer weekend.
