Last I looked, anywhere from $50-$150. I like that record though, so I don't think I'd sell it.

I don't think it has sth to do with yuppies. There's no rationality in it; collectormania=some sort of compulsive disorder. & It's a loser's thing.

& It's a loser's thing.

but spending 10 dollars a day on cigarettes
and then another 10 on beer isn't a loser thing.

I think those first two on Italy are really good.

The Hentchmen are not really loved by Goners! whutupwidat? I really enjoy them live and their stuff on norton is great to, Johnny is the man.

my dad is one of these crazy yuppies thats re-found rock n roll through the adverttised "garage rock" vehicle ala the white stripes. $50 may be a little much to pay for any record, but to me, not for one record that i'll listen to more than the piles of other stuff i got @ 7.99-12.99 each.

I guess I'm sitting on a fuckin'goldmine! I'm not selling though, I've never sold a record or cd in my life. I've given away quite a few though.
Well, it's good to know it's worth something for when I'm really in need of money.

You can give them to me. I don't have a problem selling them for you.

That's smart. I figure there's always a chance I'm really going to want to listen to that record in the future... I usually only sell if I have an extra copy. Or if I got it on an impulse buy without hearing it and immediately thought it sucks.

"I think those first two on Italy are really good."

I did too - but I still sold them to pay for our wedding cakes....

and they were delicious!

That's what I'm always thinking too. Hey, if I get old enough I might even enjoy my Black Crowes records again!

ironically, one of jack's brothers is a baker and he made the wedding cake for dave italy/buick's wedding. it was damn delicious!

when he still had the store, young soul rebels, dave italy was selling that dickies 10" single for a lot of money (well, more than i would pay for the dickies). is it worth anything? i have two... i could part with one.
Posted: Oct 4, 2006 5:24 pm

i have no idea what any of my old punk records are worth.
i wish i bought two of everything. my dickies 10" is a promo and i think it may have some promo sticker on it or some different label than was commercially available

my dickies 10" is a promo

considering i paid nothing for it, and that it went for probably $3.95 when it was released... $22 is not bad for profit but not enough to not have the record anymore - even though i have a double
Posted: Oct 4, 2006 6:09 pm

$22 is not bad

Exactly
Posted: Oct 5, 2006 1:28 am

bradx - i may wanna trade you the dickies for something
i'll be back in LA soon enough and will make a list of things i have to trade
Posted: Oct 5, 2006 7:19 am

I got that 10" too..mine has "Knights In White Satin" instead of "Paranoid"
