I can burn you a cdr...I know it's not the same.
Posted: Sep 22, 2006 6:33 pm
Don't give it to him. How anybody from these parts slept on this record is beyond my comprehension.
Posted: Sep 22, 2006 6:34 pm
Is it outta print?
Posted: Sep 22, 2006 6:36 pm
On wax it is.
Posted: Sep 22, 2006 6:36 pm
I'm going to play my copy now. I scored mine from BBQ himself...

Biggest Dumbass Award.

I'll sell you my copy...for ONE MEEEEEELION DOLLARS! Just wait for the next one and buy it.
Posted: Sep 22, 2006 6:44 pm
My Crushing you could ask Dirk Diggler. I know he at least bought it. Don't know if he sold it. And it would be on vinyl since c.d.s are for fags...
Posted: Sep 22, 2006 6:57 pm
And because Dirk is a Fag and doesn't like that record?
Posted: Sep 22, 2006 6:59 pm
That's yet another scr...uh...mystery...
Posted: Sep 22, 2006 7:15 pm

well, in my defense, i was sooo waisted when the kk, bbq, black lips show was here, i partied my ass off and spent every last dime on booze.

- i always kick myself the next day for not buying a record.

hell, sometimes i wake up w/ this mysterious record and am like.."hmm, that band mustuv been good"...since i bought the record in blackout mode!
Posted: Sep 22, 2006 7:40 pm
When you were here the other week you were talking to me about the record like yuou had just heard it. I was very confused. You are very funny!
Posted: Sep 22, 2006 7:50 pm
no, i've heard it a million times at BV's house. i think what i was trying to tell you is that when we were in Milwaukee at kevin's , he put it on while we were passing out, and at that moment, i knew i had to have it.
Posted: Sep 22, 2006 7:54 pm
i had no idea it was out of print though...guess anybody from these parts takes things for granted and i waited too long . =(
Posted: Sep 22, 2006 8:01 pm
I never bought one either cause I just figured there was a big pressing and I'd just pick it up sooner or later. Douche. Alberto played me the new album a couple weeks ago and it's just as good as the first. Those ballads are killer and get stuck in yer head after one listen.
Posted: Sep 22, 2006 8:22 pm
my gf bought me that test pressing of their next album for my birthday that was on ebay a week or two ago...looking forward to getting it but i still got a month until my birthday and she'll probably make me wait. but then they're playing at my house a week later so it'll be a rad week.
Posted: Sep 22, 2006 8:39 pm
those german version lps don't sound that hot, as they tried to master it 'their way'. the first album will probably come out again on vinyl with bonus tracks and shit at one point. it will be worth the wait. the new one? it's different. moodier, as a winter in berlin might dictate. if you have the first, it's a cool companion. if not, don't expect a party machine. we should have some of those german copies on tour.
Posted: Sep 22, 2006 8:41 pm
I had to get the German one not for the xtra tracks, but for that beautiful cover. Brings a tear to me eye!
Posted: Sep 22, 2006 8:48 pm
KK&BBQ played "I'll Never Belong" from the new record at the Blackout, no? Fuckin' outstanding. A transcendental moment.
Posted: Sep 22, 2006 8:58 pm
They did. And it's awesome.

This record is ok. And should still be not too hard to find.
Posted: Sep 22, 2006 11:57 pm
Anyone know how many were pressed on clear vinyl, and have just a black sleeve with the front and back covers printed on paper and glued on?
I don't wanna sell mine or anything, I'm just curious.
Posted: Sep 23, 2006 12:30 am
KK & BBQ should rule the AM...

I like the German Cover as well, maybe if you re-press, it could have the Goner cover on oneside, German cover on the back side!
2 sided!!!! With Bonus Tracks!
Collectors where should we start the bidding?
