there's a retro holdout steak house three blocks east of the Blue Bird..man I got a killer 20oz t-bone at the joint real good and working class.

Probably Club 404 on Broadway. Good deal and great atmosphere for choice steaks on the cheap. Pearl St. in Capitol Hill is the hip strip. Broadway had some cool vintage guitar and clothes stores if you dig that sort of thing. If Tiki Boyds has reopened by the time you get there, go.

When are you visiting Denver?

No, Denver isn't a music hotbed right now, but there's tons of great stuff going on in the area, including shows. So when are you visiting? I will try to pass along some suggestions.

Wax Trax is one of the better record stores I've been to.

For shows, The Larimer Lounge would be the first place to try.

yeah i hit wax trax last time i was there and found two oblivs 10"s. um i imagine it will be the end of august when i roll in to town. i figure it will be a weekend and like we'll probably spend one night here.
