If you have to compare it to the Preachers though, The Dolls didn't deliver at all. The Preachers take "Who Do You Love" and just fucking mangle the shit out of it to a perfect 10 punker.

is that jump jive and harmonize?
Posted: May 15, 2006 10:37 pm

It is. I can't decide if the highlight is the fact that it's a little laid back--as in, it's not full on blast--or the dual harmony screaming before the verses.

Correction: that's triple harmony screaming.

What? A little laid back? Which part?

alright i just put i on: its awesome!

this comp is perfect to break the unbelievable boredom i am experiencing today.

I think the highlight is that the guitar break is barely 5 seconds long, only has two notes and yet says so much!

I was hoping this was about his ALBUM covers. I love seeing those old Gretsches- especially when they are color matched to his jacket. I also like his S&M leather one. lets see, covers hmnn,... Hawkins, R.E.M.,Dolls,Holly(kinda) .....

Apparently you haven't been paying attention to my guitar playing. It's a miracle if play even 2 notes during a guitar solo.

I mean, it's not full tilt balls to the wall. The tempo.

I like King Khan's version of "Crackin' Up". And '68 Comeback's "Bo Diddley 1969".

Is the original as in-the-red as the T.S. mix? That's what I like the most about that song. I liked the version of "Your Cracking Up" by thee Headcoats, though I can't say that I have heard the original so I don't know if it pales...

Ummm, it's pretty close. With just a bit of knob twisting (heavy on the treble- midway on bass) it's gnarly.
