Oh man, I haven't bought any records in awhile, but I just got some stuff in the mail from a groovy dude in England. He sent me James Last's "Voodoo Party" LP and a Chico Arnez album with a scorching go-go version of "Whole Lotta Love." Oh wait, I actually did buy another another go-go thing who's itle escapes me, some obscure shit that I never saw on a nothing label and a Dillinger LP called "CB200." Dillinger is a rad reggae dude. Oh, and that Katrina B'lips 45. And the Fatals gave me alla their new shit, plus Magnetix and GoGo Players and some older weird Nasty Product Stuff that rules. And Crypt styled me with the Strummin' Mental reissues and that blues comp that the guy that did the "Nasty Rockabilly" series did. And Norton set me up with that Reiging Sound 45 wih the snake handler on the cover but I gave it to Piero Fatal cuz he didn't have it and wanted it. I guess I got some cool stuff recently, eh?

"Whole Lotta Love"

As in Led Zeppelin?

Yeah, and I fucking hate the Zep. But you know what makes this version rule? Jimmy Page ain't on it and it's an instrumental, so no plant ot plant immitaters. Somebody oughtta give that Robert Plant guy a Columbian neck tie. Like fuckin' 35 years ago.

Last few things I bought were:

Please Don't Go Topless Mother - Troy Hess (the 45!!!!!)
2+2=? - Bob Seger (mono single version RULES!)
Cross The Track - Maceo & The Macks (finally got the 7"!)
Panic - The Slaves (scare boot 7" of awesome Austrian 1960s raunch)
Twitchie Feet - The Soul Machine (ace funk instro 7")
Juiced - Jackie Brenston (neat-o drinking R&B repro)
Just Dropped In - Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings (great version, 7" only available via the Daptone site)
House Rockin' Blues - Hound Dog Taylor & The House Rockers (Alligator LP - thanks to Chris Mabbs!)
Tearjerkers EP

Note: I also got three free CDs from the wonderful Ace Records, namely their funnier'n'shit new comp album of 1950s & 60s oddities, Dead, the Spencer Wiggins Goldwax Years set, and a stoopidly great collection of Beatles novelty records ... I don't buy CDs, unless there's no other way of getting the music, cos they suck satan's dick in hell.

Shit, I wish we were in town for the Ponderosa Stomp record swap!

NICE! The stereo version is only good for druggy home listening. Doesn't work in public.
