at least you all are small on the rip off one

not on the "better version"!

We get it dude. You were in a punk band that put out some records. Those covers aren't that special. You're a dork.
Posted: May 2, 2006 3:22 am

Rip Off actually requires that a band photo be on the cover of any release or (or at least Greg Lowery used to require that).

p.s. - Tom didn't design the "picture of your heads" record cover - Nancy Lowery did.

or are those the only records in your collection?

You got me.

you think this picture of your heads is even in the top thousand???

Amon Duul II - 'Yeti'

Pretty fucked-up story behind it, too.

These are most triumphant. Motherfuckers you need to stop buying up all of the Riot lps because I need more baby seal heads on Zardoz bodies.

1.) Back From Samoa
2.) Original "Axe In The Brain" copy of Inside My Brain (not the gay re-issue with the cartoon)
3.) Any record with tits/naked girls on it (This would of course include The Oblivians).
4.) Big Black- "Songs About Fucking" (I'm sorry, but that is a ridiculously cool/obnoxious record cover)
5.) Dwarves- "Blood, Guts, And Pussy" (probably better than the BB one)
6.) Who Cares....
Posted: May 3, 2006 8:50 am

oh yeah...

7.) Scorpions- "Virgin Killer" (banned copy with the picture of the nude 13 year old girl on it)

It's an amazing washed-out/ripped-out photo of a dude in robes wielding a huge scythe, representing Death, The Reaper, etc.

Shortly after the picture was taken, the dude in the photo (not in the band) was at his parents house, ate some acid, then went down to their small family lake and fell asleep by it. Unfortunately for him, it was the middle of winter and he froze to death.

Lesson: Don't take acid in the middle of the winter and fall asleep outside.
