National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. That's been a favorite ever since I was very small. It's always on tv at Christmas time a few times every year. Watching it always makes me feel good. Every time I see it it still seems fresh and loveable just like I remember.

Raising Arizona for sure. I took a long road trip (Dallas to NYC) w/ a buddy and he had made a cassette tape of the audio from the movie. Just put a tape recorder next to the TV while it played the videotape.

It fucking ruled.

The Big Lebowski never gets old either.

The Wicker Man

I'll hafta ape and say Lebowski- every scene is MAGIC.
I'd say Goodfellas but I gotta fast forward past the "JANICE ROSSI in 12R" bit (fucking shrill) and turn it off when Henry goes to jail. Horror movies always have a shitty part that inhibits review.

I could watch Wet Hot American Summer all the live long day.

I 2nd Night of the Living Dead...I try to watch that every Halloween

Also, add to list, The Shining, 400 Blows, Bicycle Thief and for a while, Citizen Kane...probably some more...

Oh, for a while, TNT or one of those channels would ALWAYS show Deliverance...I would watch it to the end every time I stumbled onto it...
Posted: Apr 29, 2006 12:19 am
