Erase Errata were fucking great last night. I was'nt too hot on them when they came to town last year, but I really think they're hot shit now. Their cover of Boris the Spider was worth the price of admission. If they're coming to your town, go see em'. Plus the bass player is a robo-babe/badass, she's really talented! Ellie (EE bass player) used to be my assistant at work...I gave her a sovtek 2X12 cabinet as a bonus one time and she blew it up within a week...shoulda given her cash or drugs. love those gals. jen hoyston (singer) has a cool side project deal called Paradise Island that is well worth checkin out, she plays the ukulele and fucks with noise pedals and sings gospel/Prince...quite talented. that's a bad description but it's pretty rad.

I have to admit Erase Erratta was one of those "like them more cuz your friend is in it" bands when they started (I was baffled initially by how popular they got and how quickly since I was pretty sure they were making shit up as they went along) but that was over quickly and now they are very excellent rockers.

by the way there were literally like 15 former Nebraskans around that apartment all the time- Mike, Jake, uh..can't remember anyone else's name offhand. Lotsa Iowans too. A lot of Mikes.
