the best leads for houston is take I-10 through the city and keep driving west, or east. st. louis has loops around the city for a speedy get away also.

The Baseball Furies are now on the Milwaukee house party show. I just confirmed w/ Tricknee. Call me if ya get a chance...I'm still working on support for Chicago. The Furies can't becuse of ole' Jimmy Hollywood and Hot Machines can't cause Jered's out on tour w/ The Pony's during that time. Functional Blackouts are band from playing Fireside, soooo?

The band booked a gig in Boston, but I don't have all details:

Working on more Boston gigs after their tour...trying to get a gig with The Gentlemen for TTs, maybe later in the Fall or December...

Still working on Portland, but methinks it will be with Hunches and one other, tentatively at Dunes club...trying for Triggers, will update ya soon.

Also, my Tie Reds pals are still there - Dave and Teri. I plan to come out for Little Killers show to visit them. They got a new band going already, but thanks for the word on the drummer! Dave says the band is cool, "tougher" than Tie Reds...right on

If you can't find anything in St. Louis, try Columbia, MO. It's two hours west of STL and people will usually come out for a show, if for no other reason than to just to get drunk. Um, the best places to try would be Shattered (573-874-0650, the contact's name is Jeff Gilchrist) and Mojo's (573-875-0588, the contact there is Pete McDevitt).
Just thought I'd drop that little bit of info your way.

I could look into booking something for Toronto, but I have no experience booking shows so I don't know how much help I'd be.

The Gris-Gris are on for the show in Oakland.
They used to be called the Mirrors, the guy Greg Ashley moved to Oakland from Houston a while back and his band has 2 of the guys from Rock n Roll Adventure Kids. They draw well in Oakland. Gris-Gris have a record coming out on Birdman one of these days. Should be cool.
