You really need to play Montreal. Surely you can squeeze it in there somehow?

Either way, I guess I'll have to show up in Toronto.

Posted: Aug 9, 2003 7:03 am
tell greg that the drunken idiot (me) at the last cleveland show (w/jsbx) who approached him after the show & complained/slurred that he didn't play "reptile style" will be there again.

i promise a round of beers for the band if it makes it into the set list this time. pretty pretty please.

Will you be playing any benefits for "...the children"?(sniff..)
ed oblivian
Posted: Aug 13, 2003 5:45 am
Well goubler, whatever little money I make will go to supporting my two children so I guess I am "doin' it for the kids". I was a father the entire time I was in the oblivians. My oldest is now almost 12. Kids are great and are the main reason I want to continue making music. I'm sorry you don't like kids but if you're as self-loathing as your posts suggest I think you're making the right choice not having any. Not that you could get laid anyway.

anything more west anytime soon?

God. Dammit. Why will no one come to Nebraska.
...this post requires no answer. I already know why.

I gotta move.

What's the capitol of Nebraska? I'd visit there....Wasn't Custers last stand in Nebraska? Wasn't Dances with Wolves based in Nebraska? Nebraska seems like my kind of town, The Great Plains State....is that the one?
Posted: Aug 14, 2003 2:29 am
Nebraska's motto be "The Good Life"

How can you go wrong?

Posted: Aug 14, 2003 6:10 am
Anyone else playing w/ Reigning Sound at the Asheville, NC show on 9/21?
Posted: Aug 18, 2003 11:11 pm
Ed: i've gotten laid plenty; i'm just smart enough to bag it before i put it in.
BTW: just because my ego isn't so big that I think my DNA is special enough to spread around, doesn't mean I'm "self-loathing";if anytning, I don't have to get my entire identity from spreading my seed and choking the planet with more yardapes.

Kit Carson was from Nebraska? Right?

Posted: Aug 26, 2003 12:02 am
..and Jenna: big tits and wet t-shirts ain't gonna cover up the fact that your band stinks.
Posted: Aug 26, 2003 12:10 am
you're thinking of the wet look, goubler, and those weren't my tits. get on the ghetto tip. I'll keep checking back for your invaluable opinion.
Posted: Aug 26, 2003 12:15 am
I'm sure real Ghetto-dwellers just love it when white indie-rock bands cop a 'ghetto'-shtick to get some 'street-cred'.
Happy slumming, dollface.

i just wanna put myself in this thread so goubler can use his internet personality to impress me with his amazing wit and huge, HUGE cock. go for it baby.
and by the way FUCK you(!!) for disrespecting the memory of friends in some pathetic attempt to secure your "comeuppance" over another human being that has contributed a lot to rock music. No; it WOULD'NT be better if it had happened to someone else (but too bad you weren't walking along side I-5 in the path of the rolling vehicle on that fateful morning when three individuals, that had wonderful hearts, personalities and much to add to the world aside from just their music, lost their lives.
Hey, i'm glad you were able to use their deaths to make yourself feel better.
(did i mention fuck you?) i hope someday you can learn to have some respect for the dead. i patiently await your undoubtedly lame one-liner response.

"disrespecting the dead"? I'm a huge fan of The Exploding Hearts, love the album, and am pissed off i never got to see them or meet them.If you read what i wrote on the "hearts,RIP" board,or what i wrote on the Dirtnap site , you'd know that.
Posted: Aug 30, 2003 9:56 pm
i beat off sometimes its fun and sometimes i use reatards records as nut rags
Posted: Aug 31, 2003 9:17 pm

Alex C
Posted: Sep 11, 2003 8:34 pm
The Toronto show is at the Silver Dollar Room in case anyone was wondering.
Posted: Sep 11, 2003 8:37 pm
SUB-T is now open again and the show on Sat. 9/13 is still on. The club just shut down fer last weekend to serve a liquor suspension stemming from an offense that happened years ago. All's cool now.
Posted: Sep 12, 2003 11:55 pm
Seriously Ed, why didn't you guys try to come to Montreal.
Posted: Sep 13, 2003 12:22 am
Y'all should come to Bday party at the Niagara after yer show on the 19th. It's on Ave. A and 7th Street. There's gonna be some heavy 45's spinnin' that night.

...ya chumps.
Posted: Sep 23, 2003 8:31 pm
Me and the NY contingent saw 'em this weekend. I don't think any of us felt chumped. Really one of the best rock'n'roll bands ever. Get over yer shit. I had to deal with an old bitter know it all in Vegas and it was a fuckin' drag. Hey, I got beef with one of the JSBX guys but at least I admit that Crypt Style is amazing, and I still play it at home and at parties. Now I just yell dumb shit at them when they turn out to be a 'surprise guest' at shows.
Posted: Sep 23, 2003 8:38 pm
Greg, glad to see ya made it home safely. I can definately side with Bazooka with this one. They just keep gettin' better and better. This time they kicked my ass 2 nights back to back. Thanks again for everything and the good time!

I'll 3rd that...the Reigning Sound were amazing. Had a great time & it was nice to meet you guys. See ya on Halloweeeeennn!

Extra Width is amazing! it's been a downward spiral, somebody needs to slap Jon on the face and yell "Snap out of it man!".....everyone should have beef with those posers.
Posted: Sep 24, 2003 12:06 am
i'll third that sentiment about the reigning sound in nyc. They played a great set friday night and were loved by all.
Posted: Sep 24, 2003 10:30 pm
"one of the best r'n'r bands ever"?
you haven't heard alot, have you?
Posted: Sep 25, 2003 12:17 am
You got me there! I usually just listen to Sesame Street records.
Posted: Sep 25, 2003 4:22 am
