That Hot Dog Emporium is going to suffer some loss of business on Friday night with the inevitable sausage party that will be going on across the street.

what's the problem with a sausage fest? I had a great one at my house last night. Boudain, hot italian sausage, spicy bratwurst, cheesy bratwurst, beer and bratwurst, hebrew national hot dogs, pork tenderloin. Anyone interested in sampling the goods, I've got plenty left over. July 6th is the best holiday ever.

Zing! She zinged us! Don't forget that on that same night of a 1000 nites (doubledamn) that you can also go to Murphy's to see Lacey "lil' rox" Undiepants, with the Tip Tops. Murphy's is a real good place for bands to play because all proceeds from the door go straight to the musicians, there's even a sign that states that.

Did I say six bands? I miscounted, I guess I was counting Beemn's dog Megadeth as a band.

You gotta love parties at pinkies. Multiple saszage. Cheap Trick.

Thats awesome that all the door money at Murphys goes to the bands. Especially compared to the deli that takes money from the bands to overpay the half-deaf, fuckin bitter-as-hell sound guy that thinks everyband should sound like the spin doctors or uncle hot dog, and plays Sade as background music between sets. What next, a usage fee to recover the costs of the new stage?

Come on and check it out. You might have noticed that you haven't seen these bands play in a while. Well... the UNINVITED is about to go on tour in midtown, with 26 shows in the next week and a half, the CIRCUIT BENDERS have been at home on the Goner chat board,I think these guys are some sort of hackers, the CLOOTS have been on tour on Mars, the ALPHABETICAL ORDER goes where ever Clanky's Nub goes, and CRYPT ORCHID just got 5 more bass players!!! AS you can see these bands have been busy and don't have enough time to play twice a week(once at the deli, once at the hi-tone)so come see this rare occasion. Starts around 8:00-8:30,3 or 4 buildings west of the Complex.

I prefer the term technician to hacker. Hm hayy, glayven.
The Undivided are playing the next nite too, with our friends the Break ups and The Lost Sounds at the Young Ave Smeli. Let's hope hank the angry drunken lout doesn't attack anyone. If you see Todd the Bod tell him not to tear down anymore Hi-tone flyers, this town is big enough to have two rock clubs.

In the words of Hank the sound tank. THIS IS MEMPHIS!

Despite rumours and the memphis telephone game, this show friday at 656 Madison is still happening. Perhaps we shall burn the people's temple as a effigy to show the prowess of the new regime.
