There'a flyer for it on their web page - http://www.themummies.com/ - it just says it's the only northwest show on there.

if anyone's curious, it's $15 at the pizza window, something like $19.25 if you get 'em online through ticketswest.

Should be some fun times. This comes hot on the heels of the Summer BMMR, so reserve a piece of your liver.

I actually thought about getting an extra pair to scalp, when I was buying my ticket today, but then I remembered how many shows in the past I thought would be big sell outs in Portland only to find them attended by just the hardcore music nerd community. Plus I can't really gamble $30 right now, since I need it to pay my ever increasing water bill.

plus, scalping tickets to a mummies show would make you a complete douchebag.

Ha! We'll be in San Francisco that night... eh, whatever.

In the grand scheme of things, scalping tickets is pretty low on my list of sins. Right next to not lifting the toilet seat when I pee.

3 more weeks!! Cant' wait!
Posted: Aug 3, 2010 7:29 pm

Heard this thing is already oversold with no walk- ups available night of. And no in- house guest list. Scalp away.

Great show! Great weekend!
Posted: Aug 25, 2010 3:57 pm

Definitely highlight show of the year.
I was bummed at how many people I over heard talking about buying the single they were selling just to put it up on ebay. However, last night I listen to it to, & realized it's not new recordings but the same recordings that appear on the "Party at Steve's" LP.
Take that collector scum!!!
Posted: Aug 25, 2010 7:42 pm

Ha! i'm sure they'll still buy it. haven't seen any pop up on ebay yet, though.

Eagles Lodge show was great!

I wasn't aware there was a show at the Eagles' Lodge. I guess being old put me out of the loop for such things. Who played?

Being old was not an issue I can assure you. The show was fucking awesome tho

a show at the Eagles' Lodge.

It was a private wedding reception. Respect!
Posted: Aug 26, 2010 9:20 pm

Much respect and congratulations to Cecilia and Kyle!

I felt honored and lucky as hell to see the Mummies in such an intimate setting. The mystified old-fart Eagles' Aerie locals, the fact that it was FREE, and cuz I missed the Dante's show made it AWESOME!!!

Thanks newlyweds!!

That's Ryan, dude.
Posted: Aug 26, 2010 11:19 pm

HAAAAAAAhahahahaha!!

Cecilia's a bigamist!
Posted: Aug 26, 2010 11:30 pm

Kyle, Ryan, whatever .... I got to see the Mummies at the Eagles Lodge for free motherfuckers!

Cecelia was really nice and we talked about "The Hole" for awhile. I didn't talk to Kyleryan, but his tux was swanky.

Some cougar dry humped my leg on the dance floor and then told me I could help myself to the hummus and kabobs.

Small price for a wedding crasher.

It was a private wedding reception. Respect!

And I was invited.... just not by the bride or groom... or family member of any kind...
Posted: Aug 27, 2010 3:01 pm

I find it HI-larious that all the crashers were my friends. And I, personally was quite stoked to see you all. Don't worry, you blended right in...s'pecially Hess!
